This play is heaven. The play is based on Doudou's novel The Distant Savior, starring Wang, Zuo Xiaoqing and others. It mainly tells a love story of a business geek and Rui who settled in the ancient city, and also deduces a myth of business war. After the filming of Paradise was completed, it premiered in 2008 and was well received by the audience. Unfortunately, the play was taken off the shelf before it was finished.

There are three reasons for taking it off the shelf. The content is too real. Second, there are too many lines. Third, the analysis of human nature is too clear. After being banned for 10 years, the play was re-broadcast in 20 18. After being re-put on the shelves, it is still a magic drama, with a score of 9.2, which is highly sought after by the audience, and people who have seen it are full of praise.

In heaven, the person who impressed me the most was Ding Yuanying, a hermit philosopher, a real person who would rather be lonely than vulgar. Ding Yuanying in the play, after his conscience was discovered, chose to escape from this world, went to a city with no acquaintances, rented a humble house, left himself in it, and turned himself into an island. Ding Yuanying stays alone in his own world every day, accompanied only by music, cigarettes and tea. This state of being out of tune with the world and having nothing to do with it is a realistic portrayal of "hiding in the city".

Seclusion is a choice and a kind of wisdom. Things are complicated and people are sinister. Only those who can get rid of distractions, calm down, enjoy fragrant tea and listen to music can truly face up to their hearts, look on coldly at this chaotic world and live themselves into a wise man.

Paradise is a rare work of high quality. Personally, I like to summarize the essence of this TV series with three important scenes.

The first essence is that at the beginning of the whole drama, Ding Yuanying and Han Chufeng were drinking and chatting in the hotel, and they talked about the criticism in the traditional culture of China. For example, people in China like to rely on their parents at home and their friends when they go out. However, it is difficult for us to form a strong individual culture because we have the conditions to rely on them.

The second bright spot is that Ding Yuanying's father is seriously ill. In family discussions, it is proposed that raising children for old age is a long-term transaction. If parents raise their children to prevent old age, then their love for their children is not selfless. This drama uses a concept that we have never thought of before to interpret family ties, so when I saw this TV plot, I had a strong psychological shock.

The third highlight is Ding Yuanying and an old monk sitting in a temple talking about Taoism, which becomes the theme of the whole work. In fact, the process of discussing Tao is to arouse public controversy and make the argument of contrast between strong culture and weak culture surface.
