Qisha Port Border Trade Port is one of the coastal border trade ports approved by the State Council in October 1994 and officially opened to the outside world on May 9, 1995 after acceptance. It is located in the north. Qisha Harbor, known as the second largest fishing port in Guangxi, is about 10 to 28 nautical miles away from Si Tun and Vinh Shi Island in Vietnam, and about 81 nautical miles away from Haiphong Port, the largest international trade port in Vietnam. It has departments such as the Maritime Department, Border Inspection, Customs, Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, and Border Trade Management. Qisha Port has a pool of about 4 square kilometers. The pool is about 2 meters deep at the lowest tide level, and the channel is about 2 kilometers long. The shallowest part of the channel at the lowest tide level is only 1.4 meters, and the lowest level can reach more than 4.2 meters. The entry and exit of ships The harbor is greatly affected by tide levels. The Qisha Port border trade port includes five small commercial terminals: Weidong Terminal, Decheng Terminal, Aquatic Products Terminal, Bainiuwan Terminal, and Dawan Terminal, including 3 thousand-ton berths and 15 berths below 500 tons. Each terminal has a warehouse of 27,000 square meters and a storage yard of 66,200 square meters. There are currently 3 sets of 5-ton general cargo loading and lifting equipment and 5 sets of coal handling equipment. The annual comprehensive throughput capacity can reach 600,000 tons. In 2004, the total import and export volume of goods was RMB 195 million, of which imports were RMB 171.61 million and exports were RMB 23.928 million; the total transaction volume was 532,000 tons, of which imports were 503,300 tons and exports were 29,300 tons. The export commodities at the port are mainly white cement and construction glass, while the imported commodities are mainly mineral products, coal, and logs.
