Nicole Kidman was Mrs Smith's original candidate, and Catherine Zeta-Jones was one of them. Before shooting, the crew considered that if Brad Pitt could not appear in the film, Johnny Depp or will smith would be invited to take over. It is said that after Nicole Kidman gave up acting, Brad Pitt once left the crew and didn't return to the crew until Angelina Jolie signed a contract. In order to achieve PG- 13, the explicit sex scenes between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had to be cut. Cate Blanchett and gwen stefani are also candidates to play Mrs Smith. The script of this film has been changed 50 times. Brad Pitt left for three months during the filming of Ocean's Twelve. Some pictures in the trailer did not appear in the film. Angela bassett once played Smith's boss in the film, but her scene was later cut, but her voice still appeared in the film. Aishwarya rai was also chosen to play Mrs. Smith, but she refused to play because of the shooting time conflict.
