Where was the first Sofitel hotel opened?
The first one opened in Shanghai. There are 17 Sofitel stores in operation nationwide, located in Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Dongguan, Macau, Chengdu, Chongqing, Ningbo, Jinan, Nanchang, Suzhou, Harbin, Zhengzhou, Beijing, Hefei and other cities. As the first Sofitel brand hotel of the French AccorHotels Group to enter the Chinese market, the Sofitel Hailun Hotel has recently started a renovation project. The investment in the entire project will reach tens of millions of yuan. The first phase of the project will be completed in May 2005. Completed, it aims to reshape the image of the "Sofitel" flagship hotel in China. In addition, AccorHotels Group will open 5 new hotels in China in 2005.
Sofitel Hailun Hotel is located on Nanjing East Road. It is the first "Sofitel" brand hotel opened by AccorHotels Group in China in 1993.
