Because of the cold climate here, wild grapes are mainly planted, among which only 350-450 tons of wild grapes in Changbai Mountain have been picked in some years.

(2) Bohai Bay producing area

Influenced by the ocean, the climate change is stable, the heat is sufficient, the rainfall is moderate, the soil is suitable, and the natural conditions are superior. It is an excellent wine grape producing area in China. The main varieties are Chardonnay, Guirenxiang, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Jialiniang and Baiyuni. , resulting in outstanding dry wine style, harmonious taste and elegant quality. The wine produced in Bohai Bay accounts for 2/3 of China's wine production.

Main brands: Huadong Winery, Dingjun Winery, Lan Zhi Winery, Changyu Castel, Dynasty, Huaxia Great Wall, Great Wall Gold Manor (Yantai).

(3) Huaizhuo Basin producing areas

The temperature here is moderate, the sunshine is abundant, the temperature difference between day and night is large, and the rainfall is small, which is very suitable for the growth of longan and milk grapes. In recent ten years, the world's outstanding wine varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot have been successfully promoted.

Main brands: Sino-French Manor, Hongye Winery, Chen Rong Winery, Suntech Winery, Zhang Yu Effibert, Shacheng Great Wall Manor.

Most of them are distributed on terraces on hillsides, with an altitude of 800-900 meters. They have abundant sunshine, moderate rainfall, mild climate, fertile soil and gravel, which are very suitable for grape growth. A few years ago, the newly-built Yiyuan Winery planted internationally renowned varieties such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. When the grapes are ripe, the sugar content is above 20%, the acidity reaches 0.6%, and the wine quality is excellent.

(5) Yinchuan producing area

The climate is dry, the temperature difference between day and night is large, the sunshine is abundant, the soil contains gravel, it is uncultivated, and the soil is primitive, which is suitable for grape growth. At present, it is a large wine grape producing area in northwest China, and has established four large wine enterprises, namely, Wangquanying, Xia Guang, Hua Min and Yuma.

(6) Wuwei producing area in Gansu Province

In recent years, international famous varieties such as Merlot, Black Pi Nuo and Chardonnay have been widely promoted. According to experts' evaluation, the wine in this producing area is red in color, fruity and perfect in body, and it is the best wine in northwest China.

Main brands: Mogao, Qilian, Guofeng, Huangtai and Suwushan.

(7) Turpan producing area in Xinjiang

It has always been the base of seedless white grape production and raisin production in China. Now, wine grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Guerna and Syrah have been successfully planted here, with high glucose and relatively low acidity, which is suitable for brewing high-grade sweet wine with western characteristics and excellent quality.

(8) Shihezi producing area in Xinjiang

Xintian Liquor Company 1997 was established here, which is the largest wine enterprise in northwest China, with a vineyard area of 15000 mu. The climate here is mild, the precipitation is moderate, the soil is rich in minerals, the grape quality is excellent, and there is no pollution. China is a green food base for brewing high-quality wine.

The main varieties are longan, milk, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Black Pi Nuo. Some excellent liquor varieties with poor disease resistance, such as Suoweidong and Riesling, have great development prospects in this respect.

(9) Yunnan Maitreya producing area

This is the most distinctive new wine producing area in China. It is a special producing area with the lowest latitude (25 N), the highest altitude (1500m), the most diverse climate, the reddest soil, the highest acidity, the darkest color of red grapes and the most cultivated hybrid wine grapes (rose honey) in Europe and America.

Main varieties: rose honey, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

(10) Old Yellow River production area

In recent years, the newly developed grape bases in several wineries have basically controlled the epidemic of diseases, improved the quality of grapes and greatly improved the flavor of wine by introducing late-maturing varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and improving cultivation techniques.
