Attention and Analysis of Several Scheme Modes of Hotel WiFi Wireless Coverage

What the landlord said is mainly the guest room. Lobby, restaurant and meeting room are basically covered by wireless AP on the ceiling. Guest rooms usually have two common modes:

1, panel AP coverage, that is, every room (or every two rooms, depending on the wall thickness and equipment penetration performance) is provided with an 86-type panel wireless AP.

This can not only ensure the full coverage of the room (including the bathroom), but also integrate the IP telephone port and wired network port on the panel, which has obvious advantages. However, this scheme needs to plan the location and wiring before the hotel decoration, and reserve wiring in the wall during the decoration, otherwise it may not only destroy the decoration but also bring trouble to the construction.

2. Power-sharing wireless AP+ power-sharing antenna coverage, that is, the ceiling-type power-sharing wireless AP is deployed on the walkway, and then the rooms on both sides are covered with power-sharing antennas (how many rooms can be covered depends on the number of antennas of the AP and the performance of the AP, such as Sharp Technology's power-sharing AP-3680 support 1 point 4 or 1 point 8).

This scheme can also ensure the signal coverage of the room, reduce the number of wireless AP points compared with the panel scheme, and do not need to reserve lines. The disadvantage is that the power split antennas all go out from the same power split AP, and the overall access performance depends on the power split AP (basically, the power split AP can meet the internet demand of hotel rooms).

In addition to the above, the costs of the two schemes are also different. Usually, the cost of panel AP is lower than that of power supply AP, but the number of the former scheme is more, and the construction cost should be considered, so it depends on the hotel.
