For children over 12 years old, many hotels will treat them as adults and charge 100% for extra beds and meals.

Domestic hotels, if not high-end star-rated hotels, are also loosely managed, especially private youth tours or small hotels. Sometimes the boss doesn't care how many people live in a room. But there are also some greedy people who want to reduce their travel expenses and want to book a standard room for three people or choose a single room for two. If two people book and three people check in together, the general hotel will refuse this request, but if two people check in, the third person waits and then "slips" into the room, the general hotel will not care too much.
