Xisha-a touch of blue in my heart

Living in the north, I have always cherished an island complex-longing for blue waters, soft beaches and rich tropical customs ... Since I learned in my circle of friends that the Xisha Islands are open to the people, the mysterious South China Sea has quietly occupied all my travel options.

Xisha Islands is one of the four islands in the South China Sea of China, which consists of Yongle Islands and Xuande Islands. It is the largest archipelago in the South China Sea of China, starting from the northern suburb in the north, reaching Xianfeng Beach in the south, Xidutan in the east and Zhongjian Island in the west.

In the thirty-sixth year of the Republic of China (1947), it was named Yongle Islands and Xuande Islands to commemorate Zheng He's seven voyages to the Western Ocean from Yongle to Xuande in the Ming Dynasty.

Xisha Islands have been sacred and inviolable territory of China since ancient times, and were called Jiuruluo (Stone), qi zhou (Ocean), Changsha and Changsha, Li Qian in ancient times.

In the collection of Hunan Provincial Museum, there is an ancient map/kloc-0 unearthed from No.3 Han Tomb in Mawangdui, Changsha in February, 1973. Historian Tan Qixiang named it "Topographic Map of Changsha National Defense Zone in the Early Western Han Dynasty" (also known as "Topographic Map of Southern Changsha"), and the words "February, 12th, February, New Year's Eve" were stored on the wooden slips of this map. On this map, historians were pleasantly surprised to find the South China Sea, which was under the jurisdiction of Nanyue King, a vassal of the Western Han Dynasty. Although the coastline is only symbolically drawn in a half-moon shape, it proves that the South China Sea appeared on the map of China at least 2 100 years ago, which is the earliest existing map for drawing the South China Sea. Although China's South China Sea is coveted by many countries, there is no doubt that China is the first country in history to discover, name, administer, develop and manage islands in the South China Sea, whether it is the description of the South China Sea that frequently appears in China's ancient books or the maps drawn by countries in different periods.

Although the hardware and software facilities are not comparable to international luxury cruise ships, they are enough to meet our travel needs for four days and three nights. It is said that the cruise ship will return to Guangzhou for annual overhaul and upgrade in the near future, hoping that it can bring tourists a more comfortable experience with a brand-new look.

The lingering sound, Yagong Island and Quanfukushima marked in the above picture are the destinations of this Xisha trip, all of which are part of Yongle Islands. The anchorage is the anchorage of the cruise ship "South China Sea Dream" in Xisha, which is basically in the middle of the three islands. Standing on the deck, you can see three islands around you. Because there are many coral reefs near the island, cruise ships can only dock in the water area with a depth of 10 meter. After breakfast, under the guidance of the tour guide, everyone put on wading shoes and life jackets and went to the third floor of the cruise ship in droves to take the barge. Yuyin, also known as "Yin Zhi" by local fishermen, is located in a tiny sandbar on Yuyin Reef in the northeast of Yongle Atoll in Xisha Islands, China, with an altitude of more than 2 meters and an area of 0.006 square kilometers. Because it is less than 0.0 1 square kilometer, it is not called "island". According to legend, there was a shipwreck in the late Qing Dynasty, where fishermen picked up a lot of silver, hence the name "Aftersound".

The high-rise building behind the sacred sovereignty monument is the seat of Yuyin Community Neighborhood Committee, which was approved by Sansha Municipal People's Government on July 20 13. Its jurisdiction covers the lingering sound and its surrounding waters, with 10 households and * * 19 people.

Clear sea water and soft beach overlook the "South China Sea Dream". She is like a holy messenger, quietly waiting on the sea level. Far from the mainland, sparsely populated, it is precisely because of her waiting that my heart is more practical. She is our home in Xisha at the moment.

The first thing I did after I went to the island was to sign my name as a souvenir: Charming Xisha, here I am!

On September 6th, 20 17, the fishermen formally bid farewell to the wooden houses and moved into the resettlement sites made of reinforced concrete.

Fishermen's houses on the island have the following characteristics and functions: 1, flat roof: windproof, convenient for fishermen to dry seafood; 2. The island has 24-hour water supply and power supply, and the network signal is fully covered. There is a seawater purification system on the island, which can provide basic domestic water, but drinking water is still regularly transported from the inland by supply ships. Power supply mainly depends on diesel generators.

According to the tour guide, the lingering reef plate is large and firm, and its geological structure is suitable for building reinforced concrete houses. Therefore, the lingering sound is the island with the best construction conditions among the three islands in our trip. Due to being far away from the inland, harsh environment and lack of materials, the housing cost of fishermen on the island is about 6,543,800 yuan.

Seafood is commonplace here, and what is really precious is vegetables and fruits. The soil for growing vegetables was transported to the island by local fishermen from their hometown in Tanmen.

Most local fishermen come from Tanmen, Qionghai. The fishermen in Tanmen Town have been fishing underwater for generations. They are not only the first people to explore the South China Sea, but also the China people who are most familiar with it, and even more loyal guards to defend this sea area.

The island's electricity supply depends on diesel power generation system.

Xiaohei is the only island dog on the island, smart, lively and friendly. Li Xiang, a beautiful and kind guide, never forgets to bring a little black favorite ham sausage every time he takes a group to the island.

The red plastic basket is filled with the common "tiger fish" in the nearby waters, and its scientific name is "Spinibarbus". Spinibarbus sinensis and Eriocheir sinensis are close relatives. They are covered with hedgehog-like thorns and have a big airbag in their abdomen. Most of them live in tropical offshore areas. In case of attack, spiny dolphins will inflate and sting to protect themselves.

Xisha sea area is rich in red-billed snails, which are hermaphroditic and can be distinguished from the appearance. The picture above shows a female.

Manjianghong is a bivalve marine animal among mollusks. * * * There are 9 species in 2 genera of 1 family, which is the largest bivalve in the ocean and is called the "king of shellfish". Mainly distributed in Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean. There are 6 species in China, distributed in Taiwan Province Province and the islands and reefs in the South China Sea. The shell is large or extra large, thick and rough. The two shells are equal, with strong radial ribs and scales or spines on the shell surface.

Cockroaches have many bumps on their backs. Look carefully at the deep ditch between the protrusions. Is it like a rut run over by a wheel?

The outer shell is rough and thick, the inner shell is white and smooth, and the outer shell is yellowish brown. Finally, cut and grind the most essential parts, which can be used as beads and decorative gems. In Buddhism, Kuai is deeply loved by many masters and believers.

It is the tiny stinging cells in the tentacles that secrete deadly toxins in the water matrix. Although the toxin secreted by a single stinging cell is insignificant, the intensity of toxin accumulated by thousands of stinging cells is no less than that of any poisonous snake in the world today.

The most famous landscape "Seven Colors Sea" on Yuyin Island has a huge pit on its reef plate, with a water depth of more than 20 meters. When the sun shines on the sea, it presents a beautiful scene of "seven-color sea" due to the depth of the sea, temperature difference and refraction and scattering of light.

In this special territory of Xisha, the word motherland has become particularly cordial!

A trip to Xisha? What excites me most is the Sovereignty Oath 2. The impassioned oath shows that our territorial sovereignty is inviolable. With the national anthem, the five-star red flag rose slowly over the reverberation, and patriotism spread all over the body. As a Chinese son and daughter, I am full of pride.

Each tour guide assistant will prepare a five-star red flag and several hand-held national flags for his team members to take photos for them. With the blue sky and the sea as the background, that touch of China red is the pride of every China people.

The sound is not strong. Including the tour guide's explanation and the sovereignty oath ceremony, the sightseeing time of the aftersound is about two and a half hours. On the way, each group of tour guide assistants will lead a team to visit the island, and there is no need to assemble on the return trip. According to the latest time node suggested by the tour guide, they will take the barge back to the cruise ship for lunch break. The lunch break is about three hours.

There is a special set of numbers in the world to mark the water color of seawater: from blue, light blue, green, light green to brown and brown. Each color of seawater corresponds to a number, which forms a numbering system from low to high. The lower the water color number, the bluer the water color. The water in Xisha is the lowest in China. In the summer when the water color is the most beautiful, the water color number here can be lower than 2, while the water color numbers of Bohai Sea, Yellow Sea and East China Sea are all above 10. There is no doubt that the most beautiful sea in China is here.

I looked at the surrounding scenery greedily, wishing I could have a panoramic view of all the beautiful scenery.

The lunch break is about three hours. After a good meal and a good nap, we set off again and continued to take the connecting motorboat to different Yagong islands.

Yagong Island has an area of 0.0 1 km2 and an altitude of1~ 3m. Yagong Island is different because it is a gravel beach island. The whole island is made of coral reef fragments and shells, and there is no sand. Black-pillow terns can be seen on the island, but there are no trees and sand on the island, so seabirds can't come often and can only become the seasonal habitat of seabirds. Like Yuyin Island, Yagong Island relies on diesel generators for power supply, and drinking water comes from supply ships and is regularly transported to the island.

A fisherman's window became an excellent scenic spot for us to take pictures.

In 2003, there was only one tree on the island. I don't know when this extremely tenacious seed began to take root and sprout on this gravel beach covered with coral stones, and actually thrived and stood firm under harsh natural conditions. So this favorite tree of local fishermen is also one of the highlights of the trip to Yagong Island.

If there is no sand on the island, trees will have no basis for survival. 20 12 after the establishment of Sansha city, fishermen were encouraged to plant trees and improve their living conditions. The municipal land department fully supports the greening project of Yagong Island. Artificial "land" is shipped in with coconut shreds and sand, and then carefully watered with fresh water. From changing the formula of "soil" to changing the species of trees, after several screenings, a group of vibrant Buma trees finally survived on the island.
