Brief introduction of Huangshan Yupinglou Hotel

Huangshan Yupinglou Hotel

The hotel, formerly known as Wenshuyuan, was said to have been built by Pumen monks in 16 13, and was destroyed by fires many times in history. At present, the main building of Yupinglou Hotel is built at 1955, which is located on the Yuping Peak at an altitude of1716m. It is shaped like a jade palace in the sky, with lion stone on the left and elephant stone on the right, forming a natural blessed land of "green lion and white elephant guarding Manjusri". The national treasure welcoming pine is close at hand. "Left one day, right lotus, back to Yuping Peak, two peaks are beautiful, all can take. Looking around, the peaks are staggered and the valleys are vertical and horizontal. Huangshan is the best place "(praised by Xu Xiake). There is a stone carving of Chairman Mao's "Beautiful Mountains and Rivers" on the Yuping Peak, and Zhu De's "picturesque scenery" is engraved on the lion stone. Liu Bocheng wrote: "The anti-Japanese army went north yesterday, but what about the drought in Yun Ni?" Since ancient times, Huangshan has become a sea of clouds, and since then, it has been raining continuously ("Old Anti-Japanese Comrades in Southern Anhui Tour Huangshan"). Mr. Lao She once praised: "If you want to know the true face of Huangshan Mountain, you must be in Yupinglou."
