Can e-temporary id card stay in the hotel?

E-temporary id card cannot stay in the hotel for the following reasons:

1. According to the requirements of the public security department, all guests entering the hotel are required to bring their ID cards to the front desk for registration;

2. Minors' accommodation registration, like adults, must be registered with valid identity documents. Minors who have not applied for resident identity cards can register with the identity certificate issued by temporary id card or the Public Security Bureau;

3. Hotel staff who fail to register the names, types and numbers of identity documents of overnight passengers according to regulations, or who knowingly bring dangerous substances into the hotel without stopping them, shall be fined from 200 yuan to 500 yuan.

The role of temporary id card:

1, temporary id card can be used for tourism, and it is valid to buy cars, trains, planes and boat tickets.

2. temporary id card can handle all kinds of certificates, passports, marriage certificates, driver's licenses and bank cards, all of which are legal and valid.

3. The temporary id card within the validity period has the same legal effect as the official ID card.

Hotels must register when they receive passengers. At the time of registration, the passenger's identity documents shall be checked and truthfully registered according to the prescribed items. To receive accommodation from overseas tourists, an accommodation registration form shall also be submitted to the local public security organ within 24 hours.

Article 56 of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Public Security Administration Punishment Law

If the hotel staff fails to register the names, types and numbers of identity documents of the guests, or fails to stop them knowing that dangerous goods are brought into the hotel, they shall be fined between 200 yuan and 500 yuan.

Hotel workers who know that the overnight guest is a criminal suspect or wanted by the public security organ and fail to report to the public security organ shall be fined between 200 yuan and 500 yuan; If the circumstances are serious, he shall be detained for not more than five days and may be fined not more than 500 yuan.
