Xiamen City Vocational College, located in Xiamen City, Fujian Province, is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning organized by Xiamen Municipal People's Government. The school is mainly engaged in holding full-time college-level higher vocational education, based in Xiamen, facing the inside and outside of the province, taking service as the purpose and employment as the guidance, mainly cultivating first-line high-skilled talents in production, management and service for urban modern service industry and electronic information industry, and at the same time carrying out distance open education, adult education and labor skills training and appraisal.

The college now has three departments: humanities application, economic management and engineering technology, as well as the open education college, adult education department and training department, which are responsible for continuing education.
