Guilin chengdong hotel

Guilin has the best scenery in the world.

Yangshuo scenery is Guilin.

Mountain peaks reflect mountains and water,

No mountains, no water, no ecstasy.

The author is Wang.

Speaking of "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world", it is a household name. But the source of this immortal famous sentence is little known.

80 1 years ago, in the Song Dynasty, Wang Wei, then the supervisor and political officer of Guangxi, gave a farewell speech to Guilin candidates who went to Beijing to take the exam, and first put forward the theory that "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world". 1983, when the cultural relics workers in Guilin were cleaning up the stone carvings of Duxiufeng, they accidentally found the words "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world" engraved here.

Due to the development of tourism in Song Dynasty, many people left praise similar to that of Wang. For example, Zhang Xun's "Guilin's landscape is the highest in the world", Deng Gong's "Guilin's cave is the highest in the world", Zhang Xiaoxiang's "Guilin's landscape is the best in the southeast" and so on. Among them, Zengbo Li wrote "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world" in Rebuilding Xiangxi Tower at the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, which is very similar to Wang's formulation.

In addition, according to the current research, it is found that the earliest article praising Guilin's landscape in history came from Yan Yanzhi, a great scholar in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. In the early years of Yuanjia in Song Wendi (A.D. 424), he came to Guilin to visit the Duxiu Peak and realize the landscape, and wrote the poem "Those who are not alone are all in the city".

The breeze blows the green willows,

White water reflects people's hearts.

On the blue waves,

People travel in the world of painting.

Wang Wei

From: Zhouzhuang River.

Wang Wei, a native of Zhou Qi, Taiyuan (now Qixian County, Shanxi Province), was a scholar in the ninth year of Kaiyuan and was appointed as a great success. Therefore, he was demoted to Jeju treasurer to join the army. Zhang Jiuling became prime minister, promoted him to right gleaning, and transferred to supervise the suggestion. In the Anshi Rebellion, he was captured by the rebels and was given a false post. After recovering Chang 'an and Luoyang, he was demoted to Prince Zhongyun, and later promoted to Shangshu Youcheng, known as Wang Youcheng in history. Wang Wei was ambitious and enthusiastic in his early years, and wrote some high-spirited poems. After Zhang Jiuling's strike, he gradually turned to depression, believed in Buddhism, lived in seclusion for a long time, and wrote a lot of pastoral poems, showing a negative tendency to escape from reality. However, some landscape poems are vigorous in style and describe the beauty of the country's rivers and mountains. They are praised by Su Shi as "paintings in poems" and become outstanding representative writers of the pastoral poetry school in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, which has promoted the poetic art of describing natural scenery since the Jin and Song Dynasties. Wang Wei is a great poet except Li Bai and Du Fu. Wang Wei is versatile. Besides writing poems, he is also interested in painting, music and calligraphy. He can apply painting theory and music theory to poetry and achieve the artistic height of perfect combination of poetry and painting. There are Wang Youcheng's poems and more than 400 poems.
