Jinan two-day self-guided tour

Jinan has three major scenic spots: Daming Lake, Baotu Spring and Qianfo Mountain. But I think since Jinan is a spring city, its tourism feature should be spring water. Based on my own understanding of Jinan, I summarized the 2-day tour of Jinan as a reference for those who want to travel to Jinan.

Day 1:

Start from the Black Tiger Spring Group in the southeast of Jinan Old Town in the morning. If you are driving by yourself, you can choose to park under the Jiefang Pavilion. The parking fee is only 2 yuan. , parking in other places ranges from 5-10 yuan. If you take a car, you can go under the Qinglong Bridge and walk a short distance south. This place is very lively on holidays, and you can see many local residents holding various containers and bottles of spring water. There are not many tourists here on weekdays, and it is relatively quiet. It is recommended to avoid weekends and holidays to better appreciate the large and small springs. . Going west along the moat, you can see many springs along the way. During the peak season, the springs gush out in different shapes, which is worth seeing.

In this way, we unknowingly arrived at Baotu Spring. In fact, Baotu Spring Park is also a group of springs. It was named after Baotu Spring because it ranked first among the 72 famous springs in Jinan. During this period, you can see Quancheng Square, which is a place for Jinan people to relax. I think the night here is better. If you are a tourist visiting Qingdao, Dalian or Suzhou, you can ignore this square. However, Baotu Spring is so famous that you must see it when you come to Jinan.

After coming out of Baotu Spring, it should be time for lunch. At this time, you can walk a few steps north to Quancheng Road to eat and go shopping. Quancheng Road is the most prosperous commercial street in Jinan, with a clean and beautiful street scene.

In the afternoon, go to the Pearl Spring Group not far to the north of Quancheng Road. There is a Pearl Spring Hotel in it (the environment is good, you can consider staying there). This place is well protected, with many old plane trees that block out the sky and the sun. If you drive here, be sure not to park under the big trees, otherwise you will find that your car is covered with birds when you leave. Poo~~~ During the peak period of Pearl Spring, you can see the spring water gushing slightly like a string of pearls. In addition, there are also the governor's office of the Qing Dynasty and the Begonia Garden of the Song Dynasty nearby. (This is also free)

The next day:

Start from Quancheng Road in the morning, along Furong Street (a snack street, you can have breakfast here, but when I go this summer It is being renovated) and go north, passing Wangfu Pond (it is a spring, many nearby residents swim in the pond in summer), Donghuaqiangzi Street, Zhulubazi Street to Qushuiting Street. During this period, you can see Wangfu Pond and Tengfu Pond. Jiaoquan, etc., these old streets can still feel some of the scenes of Jinan in the past, "springs in every house and weeping willows in every house"

Go through Qushuiting Street and go not far north to the south gate of Daming Lake. , you can go boating in Daming Lake, see lotus flowers in summer, chrysanthemum exhibition in autumn, or take a Ferris wheel to overlook the streets and alleys of Jinan. This attraction is quite time consuming and should take about half a day. Because I have been there many times, I have no novel feeling about it, but foreign tourists can still go inside if they have time.

If time permits and you are interested, you can go to Luokou to see the Yellow River. Nearby are the early Yellow River Railway Bridge, the Yellow River Floating Bridge, and the Yellow River Fortune Beast. The entrance fee to the Yellow River Scenic Area seems to be 5 yuan/person.

If you can stay in Jinan for one more day, I suggest you go to Zhangqiu Baimai Spring. It takes about an hour to drive and the toll is 10 yuan. The old town of Zhangqiu is very clean, and the street trees on the roadside are tall and neat. Parking at Baimai Spring is also 2 yuan, and tickets are 15 yuan per person. Children under 1.2 meters are free of charge, and senior citizens' ID cards are also free. Tickets are in the form of postcards and can be collected.

For accommodation, it is more affordable to stay in a national chain business hotel. Home Inn, Jinjiang Inn, Super 8 Hotel, and Jianjian 168 are all good.
