The scenic spot is located in Hongshuihe Town, Luodian County, Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province; Hongshuihe Town is a scenic spot along the Hongshuihe River, facing Tiane County and leye county County in Guangxi across the Hongshuihe River in the south. Hongshui River, called Taiyang River in ancient times, is named because it is close to red sand shell rock and the water is reddish brown. The scenic spot is 50 km away from Guiyang, the provincial capital, and 62km away from Luodian County. The scenic spot is surrounded by mountains and waters and consists of four peninsulas with a total face value of 4.5 square kilometers.
