London was my first stop in England. I still remember the moment when I first arrived in London. I was very excited. In my heart, London, the place I have always dreamed of, has finally come here. I can't help but get excited at the thought of starting my life in England next.

After arranging everything at school, I can't wait to arrange a trip to London to learn about this mysterious place in my heart. At first I was afraid to go to London alone, and I didn't know how to book a hotel. My classmate Tina said that her friends would help us book a hotel, and they knew how to book it. We can stay in London for two days, stay one night, and then go back to school. This is exactly what I want, so I decided to be so happy.

( 1)? The fate of London began with the "meeting" of the Hilton Hotel.

To really open the fate with London, we should start with the Hilton Hotel. Because Tina's friend helped book the Hilton Hotel that day. 1200 yuan spent one night feeling sorry for my money. On second thought, I'm not familiar with this place yet, so I just want someone to help me. Then stay, just as an experience and see how the Hilton Hotel looks.

When the train arrived at Paddington Station, we got off because the friend who booked the hotel said that our hotel was not far from Paddington Station. Tina's mobile phone is dying, and so is mine. My friend didn't send us a specific address, so we just wanted to look for it first.

So I started asking for directions. I met a boy who looked like he was in his twenties, said he knew where Hilton was, and enthusiastically took us for a while. Finally, when I left, I left Tina's contact information. It turns out that I have a crush on my classmate.

Walking just now, we felt something was wrong, so we asked another passerby, this time a middle-aged man. He said that he happened to go that way and stayed with us for a while. He told us exactly which street the hotel was on and took us to the corner. He didn't go forward. We walked over and saw a Hilton Hotel.

I excitedly went in to check our reservation, but I couldn't find it. We were told that there were several Hilton hotels around here, that we might have booked another home, and then told us the address. However, we didn't remember the address and Tina's cell phone was completely dead. In other words, we have to go door to door until we find the Hilton Hotel we booked.

I know, there are many ways to find it, but at that time, we were stupid, Google Maps was not very good, and the mobile phone had no power. I didn't say hello to the address in advance, which was the situation at that time.

At that time, the only way I could think of was to ask for directions and find them. You know, when people tell us where to go in English, we sometimes can't remember. So, according to some information given by others, we keep looking and asking questions.

After searching for about 4 hours, the gate of Hyde Park has walked back and forth three or four times. Then, we finally found the second Hilton Hotel, and we are happy to visit it. The front desk said, sorry, we can't find our reservation. Now is not the right time. But he told us that there is another one on the same street called Doubletree by Hilton. We walked forward, saw the remarkable Doubletree by Hilton and found our reservation.

We almost cried. Let's put down our luggage. It's time for dinner. I went downstairs, bought sandwiches at the convenience store and settled the dinner. I just came to have a rest and found that the Hilton Hotel was not what we expected, and the room was not big. Of course, hotel rooms in London are generally not spacious. It looks quite ordinary, and it feels not much different from four or five hundred hotels in China. But, anyway, we found the hotel and were very happy.

Unexpectedly, my understanding of London began with this embarrassing story. That doesn't sound good. It hits the wall everywhere.

However, looking back, there are still some unexpected gains. After walking around like this, I became familiar with this place and was able to tell the direction. This is all I can do. Remember the limit of direction.

Besides, this is the first time I have talked to so many British people since I arrived in England. Although I asked for directions, I found that I can actually express myself in English in actual situations, so I am more confident in speaking English.

Then, I found that Hilton Hotel, just like the Greentree Inn where I stayed in China, told myself that I didn't have to stay in any luxury hotel, as long as I stayed comfortably and the price was right. This still feels full of gains.

(2)? Feel the diversity of London

Tina's charm attracted the boy who left his phone number. He said he would come and show us around London the next day. What a surprise! We are both strangers and have a weak sense of direction. We can definitely find the place to go, but it may take more time to find the way. But if the local people lead the way, it will naturally save a lot of time to find the way, and you can also be a tour guide to introduce us to the scenery.

The boy's name is Tim. He introduced himself as an immigrant from the Middle East to London. I remember that some students in my class immigrated to London from Pakistan. Last time the teacher took us to listen to English language training organized by social organizations for immigrants and vagrants, we also found that among those people, there were people from various countries: Spain, Portugal, Azerbaijan, Iran, Arabia and so on. There seem to be many immigrants in London.

Tim said that London is very attractive. They have free medical care for all, NHS, a good educational environment and an open educational model. Convenient transportation, there are several airports in London, and the subway goes to all areas of the city. These are all good, so they attract many immigrants.

Tim took us to some famous places in London, including Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Hyde Park, Trafalgar Square, famous cinemas, Oxford Street and Regent Street.

Tina and I can't get enough of it. After reading these, I was deeply impressed by several places.

First, street bands and individual music performances in London. When I passed a subway station, I saw a band performing. They like it very much. Some people play saxophone, trumpet and accordion. That's the feeling of performing on the stage. And the performance is very good, which is the investment and beauty I have never seen before. We like watching it, too.

Besides, I saw a boy playing guitar in Trafalgar Square. He is very involved in his music and plays very fast. I was immediately attracted by his music.

There is also a boy playing the drum. In fact, it is not a drum, but pots and pans in front of him. However, he still has a sense of rhythm, which sounds good and creative.

Secondly, the steps below an unremarkable statue are crowded with people enjoying the cool. I saw all kinds of people sitting there, speaking different languages, wearing different clothes, having different hairstyles and different skin colors. I am deeply attracted by this city which is compatible with all kinds of sounds and elements. People boldly and freely express themselves with music, language, hairstyle, clothing, art and performance.

Third, the lecture corner in Hyde Park. Tim said that every weekend, people can freely speak and express their views there. I took a closer look. Some people were standing on a stool talking about freedom of religious belief, some were talking about women, and some were arguing below. It was very interesting. Someone is talking, someone is listening and someone is arguing. I feel that people can speak freely and boldly in this corner, which deeply attracts me.

That's how I learned about London, and I gradually like it here. London has gradually become a special place in my heart, which has brought me some very different perspectives on the world.
