Brief introduction of Wu Tong Temple

Wu Tong Temple is located in Xilin Village, Huotian Town, Xiao Yun. It worships Zhou Yafu, the general of the Han Dynasty (people call him Guangping Wang Zun). Wu Tong Temple, hidden under the ancient banyan tree, is located on the bank of Zhangjiang River. It is said that it was built by aborigines before the Tang Dynasty. Zhang Shuo, a cadre who has been studying the history of Zhangzhou for a long time, said that the stone pillars in the temple were written with the words "Pan, Lan and Lei", which was built by the indigenous "Li Man", indicating that she villages had been formed here that year. In the Yuan Dynasty, Chen Junyong, the general manager of Tongzhi and Xuanwu in Zhangzhou, once visited the Five Emperors in Xilin City, later called Wu Tong Temple. The temple is characterized by high pedestal and low eaves, which is very distinctive.
