International exchanges at Jinling Hotel Management Cadre College

The college has always attached great importance to exchanges and cooperation with international tourism schools. Over the years, it has selected many batches of key teachers and sent them to the internationally renowned Ecole Hotel de Lausanne in Switzerland, Cornell Hotel College in the United States, and Singapore. Exchanges and studies were carried out with professional institutions such as Chatek Training Center and Australian Regent Hotel College. In 2001, our school signed a cooperative education agreement with Angliss College in Australia to jointly train hotel management students. Currently, the scale is expanding in an orderly manner and the level of schooling is constantly improving. This year, Jinling Hotel Management College has also been negotiating with Purdue University and Preston University in the United States, as well as tourism schools in the United Kingdom, Austria, South Korea, India and other countries to actively carry out cooperation matters. In recent years, our institute has also gradually established an international internship and training base, which currently covers high-end hotels in Japan, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and other countries (including the seven-star Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai), and sends more than 100 training students every year. In Nanjing, William Angelis College is conducting an educational cooperation project with Nanjing Tourism Vocational College to issue a dual degree, involving a major in hotel management. In the initial stage, students mainly undergo intensive English training and learning in tourism, and then students will receive professional learning and training in hotel management. The teaching of this joint project will employ both Australian and Chinese teachers for bilingual teaching.

New Zealand Cooperative Education

The college signed a summer cooperation agreement with New Zealand Willridge Institute of Technology on December 7, 2007, and will cooperate in hotel management, tourism management and other majors. . After two years of junior college studies, students of our college can go to other colleges to study for a bachelor's degree.

Sino-Austrian cooperative education

The Salzburg University of Applied Sciences in Austria was founded in 1997. It is a higher innovative university that combines academic education and scientific research. The School of Economics and Salzburg University After friendly consultations with the Ersborg University of Applied Sciences, an educational cooperation agreement was signed in February 2008. Both parties agreed to organize a non-entity, non-profit cooperation project in our institute, namely a professional junior college program in Marketing (Tourism Internet Marketing), with a three-year academic system. In 2016, all teaching content was completed in China, with Austria taking 33% of the courses and our school taking 67% of the courses.

China-Korea Cooperative Education

After friendly negotiation between our college and Jeju Tourism University in South Korea, an educational cooperation agreement was signed in December 2007. Both parties agreed to hold a non-entity and non-physical education in our college. The for-profit cooperative project, namely the Applied Korean Professional Cooperative Course Project, lasts for three years and is all completed in China. The Korean side undertakes 33% of the courses and our school undertakes 67% of the courses.

Sino-US cooperative education

On July 7, 2007, six exchange students from Purdue University came to our college and began a four-month study of elementary spoken Chinese. During this period, our school arranged carefully decorated and well-equipped classrooms for them, and equipped them with specialized teachers of Chinese as a foreign language. Secretary Xiao Fei, Dean Zhang Xinnan and other leaders attach great importance to their learning and have visited and greeted the students in class many times. At the same time, during their study period, the hospital also arranged a variety of activities for them. For example, participate in activities with students majoring in cooking and learn to cook Chinese cuisine; participate in catering classes with students majoring in hotel management and learn bartending skills.

Although the teaching time was limited, with the efforts of the teachers in our school, these six students completed all courses as scheduled and made great progress in their Chinese communication application level.
