The distribution of Hui people in Xiping County is characterized by large dispersion and small gathering, villages in rural areas, streets in towns and cities, and settlements of different sizes. Villages and towns where Hui people live in compact communities include Baicheng, Caizhai, Huancheng, Wugouying, Lumiao, Tandian, Jiaozhuang, Chongqu, Chushan, specialized hotel households and Ludian. Among them, there are 5,400 Hui people in Caizhai Hui Township, mainly living in seven villages including Caizhai, Guizhuang, Cui Zhuang, Liu Zhuang, Xiaowa, Wuzhuang and Xuzhuang.
