Travel notes of Xiamen

It only takes a few words to decide to come to Xiamen. Only in the first half of August, I can only take two days off to search for special tickets for flying pigs, plus weekends, four-day round trip, leaving early and returning late, thus finalizing Xiamen, and everyone is happy.

As the day of travel approaches, I find that the summer heat in Xiamen is unbearable and the temperature is 38℃. I am a little worried that I can't stay outdoors for a long time in summer. I asked Mr. Zhou several times, but he comforted me and said nothing, so I was relieved.

Maybe it's summer vacation. Most flights are taken by parents with their children. Planes are like amusement parks. When taking off, the children's laughter, excitement, happiness and curiosity sounded rhythmically as the plane circled like a roller coaster. When the plane was about to descend, the children looked out of the window. Cotton candy! Wow, it's beautiful! Wow, are there any cattle and sheep on the green grass? "It's so cute!

The scenic spots in Xiamen are relatively concentrated. The accommodation arranged by Mr. Zhou this time is great. The Orange Crystal Hotel near Zhongshan Road is very close to the Botanical Garden, Pedestrian Street and Xiamen University, which is very convenient.

I Gulangyu Island

Xiamen must-punch attractions, tickets can be bought in advance, there is a one-way 35 yuan, it is said that there is no air conditioning, there is a luxury cruise ship of 158 yuan, sightseeing around the island, and taking photos on the deck for about an hour.

Once on the island, you can stop and go. This island is very big. Instead of following the scenic spots in online celebrities, you can find different scenery. The intuitive feeling is that commercialization is very serious. After all, Xiamen is the mainstay of tourism. Basically, there are scenic spots everywhere, accommodation, no difference, all inclusive.

Second, Xiamen University

A younger brother is studying in Xiamen University, and we followed him to visit Xiamen University through the back door. Otherwise, it is said that it is a bit troublesome to make an appointment in advance now. After the rain, the campus of Xiamen University is filled with the smell of citronella, and I like it very much. While walking, I listened to my brother's introduction of Xiamen University attractions and some graduation ideas, and I got a better impression of that young man, feeling older and more reliable than before.

What Xiamen University sees in summer is basically tourists. My brother said that Xiamen University has become the largest people's park in Xiamen.

Third, Shapowei

I heard from friends that Shapowai many years ago was like a stinking pool. But now, when searching for Xiamen in Little Red Book, Shapowei is a must, and Shapowei is very close to Xiamen University. Some of it looks like the back garden of Xiamen University, so I went to see it. It feels like a small area composed of countless online celebrity shops, with food, play, clothes and beautiful literature and art. Many young girls take pictures here. The heat in summer has not affected my enthusiasm for taking pictures at all, and I feel that only a few photos can be worthy of this scenic spot.

Fourth, Xiamen Botanical Garden

Because it is only a few hundred meters away from the hotel, the first stop of punching in Xiamen belongs to it, but it is also because it has just arrived in Xiamen and traveled at 38 and 39 degrees. This stop is a baptism of heat. After this stop, I am familiar with the heat of Xiamen. Botanical Garden is also the punching place for network celebrities, and the west gate is close to the scenic spot, which is too hot. So I decided to take a tourist bus to the scenic spot, which is more worth punching in. In direct sunlight, taking a photo with cactus feels like punching in the desert.

Visiting Zhongshan Road is after dinner in the evening, which is close to the hotel. It's very similar to Mr. Zhou's walking at night. Zhongshan Road is very long, and there are also some small alleys. I found it very commercial when I first left, but I will be patient when I leave again. Some snacks are still worth punching in, and my stomach will burst when I taste the gift.

Six, Wulishan Fort

It is worth mentioning that there is a small beach next to the battery, and there are fewer people, so you can play by the sea.

First, the ginger duck fried crabs strongly.

Mr. Zhou has been to Xiamen before, and he likes Xiamen ginger duck best. So, our first lunch in Xiamen went straight to this word-of-mouth shop and ordered ginger duck, abalone and satay noodles. Everything is Xiamen, especially the ginger duck. So far, I have fallen in love with it. Duck is fried, and the aroma of ginger is accompanied by fried duck meat, which has a unique flavor and is worth the ticket price.

Second, the small eye food stalls

When you come to Xiamen, you must eat seafood once. A friend recommended a small eye food stall and began to eat.

The ingredients are really fresh. I went early, and they were all packed. Seafood is tender and delicious.

Third, Xiamen local cuisine.

1. Yu Yan

The environment is very good, the score is high and the dishes are exquisite.

2. Yupu

The taste is very authentic, and I personally think it is better than the banquet. Fried oysters are delicious and complete.

Fourth, Gulangyu snacks

The old people in Gulangyu who used to eat with a sense of recommendation, to be honest, the taste of oyster fried and fish shop is much worse. Will Gulangyu old people also promote it? A little disappointed.

I tasted fish balls, grass and peanuts soup, but it didn't hurt. Perhaps we can't expect too much from snacks in places with serious traces of commercial tourism. They are far less delicious than those inadvertently found in streets and alleys.

Five, Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street Snacks

This should be the longest and largest pedestrian street I have ever been to. There is a lot of food, but it needs to be discovered.

Satay noodles, the first one, are pure in taste. Mr. Zhou finished all the soup.

Six, super species supermarket

I went to several shopping malls, and there were super species. All kinds of seafood are directly called on-site cooking, and I can only feast my eyes when I am full. Fortunately, super species were found at Xiamen airport on the night of the return trip. Because it was past 1 in the morning, I basically closed the stalls, but I bought sushi, saury and fruit. They all taste fresh. I like this supermarket very much.

This is a leisurely trip. For this petty bourgeoisie city, coffee is also a kind of urban culture. Went to several good coffee shops.

First, PP Planet Friends Planet

What's great is that it's on the top floor of Shimao, overlooking Gulangyu Sea and many tall buildings. The scenery is good, of course, the coffee is pure and the dessert is great.

Second, make normal coffee.

The store is small and the younger brother is very professional. This coffee is specially brewed and tastes good. Every cup of coffee has every story, and there is no cure.

Third, turn to mountain coffee.

I'm here for the evaluation of public comments. In a very inconspicuous place, it is very atmospheric. People are full. There are many kinds of black coffee, and different countries have different choices. Ordered zero-degree iced milk coffee and hand-brewed coffee, served with sea salt caramel cake, and enjoyed quietly.

The itinerary in Xiamen has been arranged for four days, and three days should be enough. The last day was basically a stroll and a cup of coffee in the library of the Science and Technology Museum. This is still a beautiful trip. Xiamen is more commercial than expected, with heavy tourist trails and slightly lower development level than expected, but this does not affect my love for her literature and art. The literature and art blocks of interesting shops are very relaxing.
