Chicken soaked in water has a unique taste.

The Gulao water town in Heshan is famous far and near, and the most distinctive food is soaked chicken. Villagers have successively opened a number of small chicken-soaked restaurants near Gulaoshui Town. Because of their unique flavor, more and more diners come here.

Tourists from Wuyi, Jiangmen, Foshan, Zhongshan and other places often come to Heshan for sightseeing and taste soaked chicken after enjoying Chashan scenic spot. The number of restaurants has increased from a few in the early days to more than 30 now.

In a hotel in Yayao Town, Heshan City, fresh Chun Zhu stem powder, salmon sashimi, signature charcoal roast goose, fried homemade tofu, homemade yuba slices dipped in zucchini and other dishes were newly introduced during the May Day holiday. Many vegetables in this shop are self-grown, green and sweet.
