Because Dali is just our transit station, we only stayed for one day. We arrived in Dali at midnight the day before and booked Erhaimen No. 1. I slept very naturally the next day. I had breakfast at the hotel and consulted the innkeeper. He said he wanted to go to Erhai Lake and suggested renting or packing.

First of all, I walked along the ancient city of Dali for a long distance, and I could see the snow-capped mountains. It's really spectacular. I bought Jiahua’s flower cake, a well-known brand, and it was delicious. Xiaogui already had 1 yuan and 5 yuan, so I bought some and mailed them home.

When you are on the streets of Dali, there will often be some aunties chatting with you and asking you if you want to go swimming somewhere or rent a car. Others ask you if you want to have your hair braided. I don't have braids.

Because I wanted to go to Erhai Lake, I asked several chartered car prices, and they were all 300~350. Later, we bargained around Erhai Lake and found that we could get out of the car and take photos for 260 yuan.

The first few pictures were taken along the way. The important thing is that I also read Xiaohongshu and shared that there are many seagulls in Xiaoputuo, Erhai Lake. As a result, when we went there, we didn’t see a single hair. I heard that Little Putuo was driven away in order to control the environment.

The best route

The main reason for coming to Erhai this time is to establish an alliance with the sisters. I have never been to Dali, so there are some tourist routes on the route: Erhai Lake-Dali Ancient Town-Lijiang Old Town-Erhai Lake! But in fact, if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I recommend the route: Erhai-Erhai-Erhai! No need to go to anything else. The ancient city is a snack street. It is best to leave a room or rent a car around Erhai Lake.

Car rental and sea route

The surrounding area of ??Erhai Lake is 130 kilometers. After all, we are not here to practice driving, so there is really no need to go around in circles. I would feel very tired anyway. The hotel I stayed in was near Haiti, and the nearest car rental agency was only a 10-minute drive away. Rent a convertible car if you like, and then drive towards Shangguan Town with concentration.

I think the Erhai Lake in this direction is more beautiful, and there are fewer cars along the road. Find a few places with wide roads and beautiful scenery, and then find a place to rest. Look at the time, we are almost driving back along the sunset! If you choose the right route, you can go to the same Erhai Lake as those girls.
