3 the scope of application of various standards

(2) The1class standard is applicable to areas with residential, cultural and educational institutions as the mainstay. Rural living environment can be implemented with reference to such standards.

(3) Level 2 standard is applicable to residential, commercial and industrial mixed areas.

(4) Level 3 standards are applicable to industrial zones.

(5) The four-level standard is applicable to the areas on both sides of urban road traffic trunk lines and the areas on both sides of inland waterways passing through urban areas. This kind of standard is also applicable to the limits of background noise (which refers to the noise level of outdated trains) on both sides of the main and secondary lines of railways passing through cities.

The standard values of all kinds of noise at the factory boundary are as follows:

55 decibels and 45 decibels.

Secondary 60 decibels 50 decibels

Class III 65 dB 55 dB

70 decibels and 55 decibels.

3. Definition of the scope of application of various standards

The first category of standards is applicable to areas with residential, cultural and educational institutions as the mainstay.

Class II standards are applicable to residential areas, industrial and commercial mixed areas and commercial center areas.

Three standards are applicable to industrial zones.

The four types of standards are applicable to the areas on both sides of main roads.

4. The scope of application of various standards shall be designated by the local people's government.

5. Frequent sudden noise at night (such as exhaust noise). Its peak value is not allowed to exceed the standard value 10 dB, and the peak value of occasional noise (such as short whistle sound) at night is not allowed to exceed the standard value 15.
