Introduction of scenic spots in Xingqing Palace Park

In the Tang Dynasty, there were six gates around Xingqing Palace, and the main entrance opened to the west, which was called Xingqing Gate. Now the south-facing gate of Xingqing Palace was called Yangtongmen in the Tang Dynasty.

Xingqing Palace Park is located on Xianning Road in the southeast corner outside Xi 'an city wall. It was named after it was built in the former site of Xingqing Palace in Tang Dynasty. It is the oldest historical and cultural heritage park in China, located in the north of the century-old famous Xi Jiaotong University. Xingqing Palace is located in Xingqing Square (Qin Long Square) in Guo Cheng outside Chang 'an, Tang Dou. This was the former residence of Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty.

There are tall buildings such as Longtang, Changqing Hall, Chenxiang Temple, Huajiehui Building and Qinzheng Building, which are surrounded by a pool of clear water. Huguang Building will be like a fairyland. According to legend, there are lotus, water chestnut and various algae cryptophytes in Longchi, and Buddleja is also planted in the south bank of the pond.

Xingqing Palace covers an area.

Xingqing Palace Park covers an area of 750 mu, with a lake surface of 1.50 mu. However, due to the low investment of the park for many years, its facilities and environment are extremely uncoordinated with the urban development environment. In order to ensure the sustainable development of the park, the upgrading and development project of the park has been listed as one of the Silk Road World Heritage projects by the Xi municipal government. It is reported that the renovation is divided into two parts: infrastructure renovation and wall renovation.

The comprehensive renovation of Xingqing Palace Park is based on the multi-node structure of one pool, three mountains and thirteen districts, relying on the big pattern of one pool and three mountains in China classical gardens. The planning scope is divided into thirteen areas, namely, hotel management area, management office and Tang Wenhua research area, folk bar area, South Gate historic site exhibition area, Tang Le performance area and ecological protection area.
