Hotel building balcony

In the seismic code, veranda type and single-sided corridor type refer to the bearing capacity of the main structure.

1. The veranda type is a corridor structure suspended above the main wall of the building. There are usually two kinds, 1 is a concrete structure, and 1 is a steel structure.

2. The one-sided corridor is the one-sided corridor in the main building, which is a concrete structure and enclosed in the building.

It should also be noted that if the veranda adopts steel structure, it depends on whether it is an independent foundation. If so, the seismic code is not applicable.
