The shops of oriental roast suckling pig are basically concentrated near Ba fishing port. You can unlock this roast suckling pig street by the way after visiting the fishing port. Where I went, the scene was quite wild.
The suckling pig is roasting on the charcoal stove on the street, and its skin has turned brown. A closer look shows that there is slight oil leakage, and the charcoal fragrance in the air is mixed with meat fragrance.
Oriental roast suckling pigs will be younger than Lingao suckling pigs if they choose a small fragrant pig for more than 40 days. The local people go to the tea shop for breakfast, order a pot of tea and add some dim sum bread. A group of bosses can sit in the shop and have tea and chat all morning. Tea is not particular, it is often a pot of popular tea for a few dollars, and snacks are also very affordable.
On the recommendation of local people, I went to Wei Hui Maxim Teahouse.
Ordered a pot of milk tea, the local practice is actually to pour the milk into the teapot. I will also give you a small glass of sugar, the sweetness can be controlled by yourself.
Bread is also a traditional style, but it is all made by the store itself. When a drawer is sold out, a new one will come up. I asked for a coconut bread. The bread is soft and has a layer of coconut on the surface. Reminds me of the satisfaction of eating coconut when I was a child.
In the morning, the temperature in the east is 25 degrees and the sunshine is not strong. It's comfortable to sit on the side of the road with the wind blowing. No one was in a hurry, and everyone sat comfortably.
If it is judged that Hainan men are idle because dad's tea shop is on fire, they will deny it.
I had a brief talk with my dads around me. Their general feeling is that Hainan is hot, so they usually go to work when the weather is cool, and come here for tea and rest when the sun is too full during the day.

In Oriental City, if you want to eat authentic taste, you can go to Meihua Gangmen Facade Store. The business staff is sister Meihua of Gangmen. She has been selling this bowl of noodles for many years. I have accumulated a group of regular customers all the year round, and I am greedy for the taste of this bowl.
Although it is called noodles, its base material is actually Pingjiang powder. Sweet potato powder is added to the gravy, so it is very thick. The rice noodles are wrapped in this thickened marinade, which makes them extraordinarily smooth and easy to swallow.
Among all the ingredients, I think the most special thing is that it will add two spoonfuls of sesame powder and peanuts. After fully stirring, each rice noodle is wrapped with fine sesame seeds and peanuts.
The overall taste of noodles is sweet, but it feels not sweet because of many ingredients. The pickled cabbage hidden in it belongs to another kind, slightly sour but not too much. Eating chopsticks once in a while will make you feel very fresh.
After eating, there is still sour taste between lips and teeth, and salty taste and sweet taste are mixed in brine.
Lin Ji baoluofen
Lin Ji Paul Powder is also an old shop. People come to eat bowls of powder to fill their stomachs at different times of the day.
Abalone powder will be thicker than Hainan powder, and it is also made of rice. It looks round, white and fat, and the marinade will be sweeter.
Like other Hainan powder, it is divided into soup version and dry-cured version, and I chose the latter. 15 yuan's comprehensive abalone powder, with shredded squid, beef jerky, peanuts, sour bamboo shoots and other ingredients 10. And 15 yuan can get one more cuttlefish ball and beef ball.
The marinade of abalone powder is brown and sticky, and its texture is like lotus root starch. There is a lot of marinade, almost the whole bowl of powder is soaked in it, and every bite will first feel the thick gelatinous texture.
The powder is also sprinkled with fine white sesame seeds, which will be very fragrant if you take a bite occasionally.
Zhangji coffee
An old shop that makes serious food has its own temper. Zhangji coffee is hidden in an alley in Dad Tea Street.
You can only see an inconspicuous shop sign on the roadside, and then go inside, and the shop will open in the old house of the most traditional oriental family.
They only do afternoon tea business. It is an old-school tradition to go to the store for a cup of coffee and a piece of toast.
Coffee beans are made from local Xinglong coffee in Hainan. The old-school practice is to add a spoonful of condensed milk to the coffee liquid. Remember to stir well with a spoon before drinking. The taste is very rich and mellow.
Cheetos are also delicious. Slices of bread soaked in egg liquid taste salty and soft.
You can also bring a glass of old salt water before you go. Old salt water is a happy summer water for Hainan people, which is available in many tea shops. In contrast, the practice of Zhangji Coffee will be more traditional.
Because there is no pressure for mass production, their old salt is the salt they have stored for 10 years, and the fruits are all seasonal fruits. They are all fresh-cut, without any syrup and additives, and you can drink the most traditional old salt passion fruit lemonade.

Basuo fishing port
In the east, one of the three central fishing ports in Hainan, the eight central fishing ports in the east can't be missed.
Located in the northwest coast of Dongfang City, Basuo Port is a national first-class open port. The port consists of old port area, new port area and fishing port area. At present, there are 16 berths, and there are 9 berths above 10,000 tons, which is quite large.
Fishing is very optimistic about the low tide time. Cast a net at high tide and close it at low tide. It is the time when a large number of fishing boats return to Hong Kong after 4 pm. This time is the busiest time (the low tide time is different in different seasons, so you can ask in advance when you go).
The fishing boats moored in the harbor are very spectacular. Fishing boats are local people's means of transportation. Some people buy rice, noodles and grain and oil on board, and the crew return with full loads.
But it was still early when I arrived, and there were not many booths. In dribs and drabs, some fishermen sell their fish and shrimp with small bamboo baskets.

Changshun market
If you ask the local people about the northeast vegetable market, they will basically take you to Changshun market.
The endless sunshine in Hainan attracts many Northeasters to buy houses, but it is difficult for them to do as the Romans do, and they still miss everything from snacks to pancakes, green onions and stewed Chinese cabbage vermicelli, so there is a vegetable market dominated by merchants and customers.
Most vegetables here will indicate the place of origin. Shandong Zhangqiu green onion, Harbin Acheng cabbage, northeast green eggplant and Mudanjiang potato are all labeled as Shandong, but they are all irresistible hometown flavors here.
There are many fruit stalls, and the common styles are pitaya, passion fruit, Sakyamuni and mango.
I paid attention to the price. Watermelon 2 yuan 1 kg, banana 2.5 yuan 1 kg, Qiongzhong Green Orange 3 kg 10 yuan, the prices are quite good. You can take them home directly if you buy them here.

Fish scale delta
Go to Fish Scale Island at night to watch the sunset on the west coast. Not far from Dongfang City, it takes about 0/0 minutes by taxi/kloc.
As early as forty years of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, it has been listed as one of the scenic spots in Hainan. This is the westernmost point of Hainan Island and the best place to watch the sunset.
This is a rocky mountain surrounded by the sea on three sides. The White Lighthouse is an important navigation mark in Beibu Gulf and a symbol of Dongfang City.
Klein's blue sea and orange sunset are the most classic seaside elements. Moreover, the sunset here has a wide view, and you can see the sunset directly in front of you.
The west wind blowing from the sea is constant all year round. On the beach of Fish Scale Island, eighteen huge windmills stand not far away, which has also become a scenery by the sea.

Baicha village
