He said that the way out for rural children in Chaoshan area at that time was to go to school and do business. He felt that only reading could change him, so after resuming the college entrance examination, he took the exam. 1980, Zheng finally got his wish and entered Henan Jiaozuo Mining Institute to study underground coal mining.

"Children from rural areas think very simply, as long as they can go to college, no matter what school or major. After four years in school, I studied hard ... "Zheng told the truth. He won a scholarship every year with excellent results.

Blasting industry smells business opportunities

After graduating from college, Zheng was assigned to work in Guangdong Coal Design Institute. Shortly after entering the unit, he was sent to China University of Science and Technology to attend a three-month "Modern Blasting Technology Training Course" organized by the Ministry of Coal Industry. This is a major turning point in Zheng Yisheng.

At that time, it happened that the Chinese University of Science and Technology was going to demolish an old building, and it happened that the "blasting demolition method" was relatively rare at that time, so the school invited blasting experts to give lectures as examples. The magical and fresh blasting technology suddenly aroused Zheng's interest, and he tirelessly followed the teacher on the construction site every day. After returning to Guangzhou, two other colleagues of Zheng He applied to set up a research group to study "Popularization and Application Technology of Urban Controlled Blasting". 1985, at the age of 26, he founded the grand blasting engineering company on the basis of this research group.

Talking about the business opportunities of "blasting" of urban buildings, he said: "After the founding of the People's Republic of China, almost all domestic cities are buildings with reinforced concrete structures. Its service life is only a few decades, and it will be demolished as soon as the deadline comes. Blasting is the best way to demolish buildings, and the market space is definitely very large. " Sure enough, after years of development, Zheng's grand blasting engineering company has become the largest professional blasting company in China.

The old gymnasium in Guangzhou is famous.

Zheng said with a smile that the demolition of the old Guangzhou Gymnasium was the real way to let the people know about the big blasting and Zheng's project. 2001May 18 12: 09, the old Guangzhou Gymnasium, with a building area of 43,000 square meters, was completely destroyed in 3.5 seconds and turned into a pile of ruins only 5 meters high. There are China World Hotel and Railway Station near the old gymnasium. The requirements for environmental protection and safety are very high. In order to ensure the "foolproof" of the project, the blasting scheme of the whole gymnasium, including drawings, was drawn by Zheng, then the general commander. Later, this design scheme was unanimously recommended as "the most perfect model of blasting design scheme in China" by academicians attending the national expert review meeting because there was no fault. This beautiful explosion became the largest in the history of blasting in China and the latest in technology in the history of blasting in the world, which also made Guangzhou people know the blasting expert Zheng.

Talking about the successful blasting of 200 1 Guangzhou Old Gymnasium, Zheng said that this project is the highlight of their company. At that time, five or six companies bid, and Shanda won by concept. Zheng advocated environmental protection and clean blasting, which caused less pollution to the surrounding environment, so he proposed to use helicopters to sprinkle water at that time. Blow up the market in the sky

After creating the "first explosion in China", in 2003, Zheng completed the first explosion in Asia-directional blasting of the chimney of Ningbo Zhenhai Power Plant. Therefore, he became the first person in the world to solve the mystery of chimney support destruction.

In 2004, Zheng once again took over a blasting project known as "the best in the world"-blasting 800,000 cubic meters of stone at Qinshan Nuclear Power Station 150 meters to build a second nuclear power station. The technical requirement is that "the vibration impact after simultaneous explosion of 500 holes should be less than the impact of 1 hole", otherwise Qinshan Nuclear Power Station will automatically shut down. And this shutdown, the whole East China will also be blacked out ... Before Zheng, no one in the world could overcome this technical problem. In this project design, Zheng's "interference damping technology" has been perfectly verified, and HTC completed this unprecedented blasting six months ahead of schedule.

In 2003, HTC was restructured by blasting. Zheng believes that the rapid development stage of HTC was after the company restructuring in 2003. With the continuous expansion of the company, Shanda's business now extends from the demolition of buildings to the fields of mine blasting, mining and mineral processing. Zheng said that in the future, HTC will buy mines and open its own mines, and will no longer work for others. With the development of domestic economy and water logistics industry, HTC has also extended its business tentacles to areas such as waterless reef blasting and waterway dredging. Zheng's joke is that from the ground to the sky, to the underground, to the water, it can be said that land, water and air are all occupied.

At present, HTC is planning to go public. Zheng said that there are more than 2,000 blasting companies in China, and there are more than 20 first-class enterprises supported by the Ministry of Construction alone. The competition in the industry is very fierce. In order to develop in the long run, HTC must go public. Zheng said that as a blasting company, this is an adventurous business, and the listing of the company is also a kind of venture capital. This is the riskiest investment he has ever made.
