Where is Danzhai in Guizhou?

Danzhai is located in the eastern part of Guizhou Province and the western part of Qiandongnan Prefecture. Danzhai borders Sandu Shui Autonomous County to the south, Duyun City and Majiang County to the west, and Kaili City to the north. The county governs 3 towns, 4 townships and 1 state-owned farm. Multi-ethnic groups live in the county, including 21 ethnic minorities including the Miao, Shui and Buyi ethnic groups.

Seven projects of Danzhai County: Miao batik, ancient papermaking, Miao golden pheasant dance, Miao oral classic "Jia", Miao Miao New Year, Miao costumes, and Miao Mangtong Lusheng ritual music and dance have been listed as national by the State Council level intangible cultural heritage protection list.
