Niujia Village

In 1200 AD, the sixth year of Qingyuan of the Song Dynasty, the Jin Dynasty rose in the extreme north, Mongolia dominated the desert, the rivers and mountains of China were broken, and half of them were in the hands of the enemy. Evil was in power, and the people were in dire straits. The Emperor of the Yuan Dynasty moved his capital to Lin'an, not thinking about the shame of Jingkang, and lived an intoxicating life of "How long does it take to stop singing and dancing in the West Lake". At that time, brothers Guo Xiaotian and Yang Tiexin fled from Shandong to Niujia Village because they were dissatisfied with the imperial court at that time, and lived in seclusion here. Qu Lingfeng was expelled from Peach Blossom Island after his legs were broken by Huang Yaoshi, and then opened "Qu San Hotel", met friends with wine, and lived a secluded life. At that time, the Guo and Yang families were very close to each other, and they lived a life where chickens and dogs knew each other. Qiu Chuji, a hero of the Quanzhen Sect, killed a traitor in the court and was chased by officers and soldiers. This broke the peace of Niujia Village, and a struggle between justice and evil began, triggering the story of "The Legend of the Condor Heroes".

Dingshou Nunnery

Dingshou Nunnery was built in the Qing Dynasty and is located 50 meters below Qingyin Cave. It is said that the Big Buddha Rock is the Buddha's head, and the top is the Buddha's head, hence the name. In the early days, it was a place for islanders to offer incense and worship Saint Anqi. It was first built in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty. Please take a look at this Xuande incense burner, with the words "Made in the Xuande Year of the Ming Dynasty" cast on the bottom. According to expert analysis, this Xuande incense burner is related to the Big Buddha Cave where An Qisheng lived. During the relocation and reconstruction process in 1996, this bronze incense burner was unearthed when clearing away the landslide soil. This shows that people on the island worshiped incense here during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. This is a historical witness.
