Life of Feng Shui master Yang in helping the poor?

Yang Junsong, the 16th generation granddaddy of many teachers in Ningdu County before liberation, said that he was from Douzhou Prefecture, Shandong Province. According to the dictionary of ancient and modern place names in China, which was first published by Shanghai Commercial Press in May of the 2th year of the Republic of China, Dai said: "Douzhou ... therefore, it is ruled in the south Erli teaching field in Xinyi County, Guangdong Province." According to "Ningdu Zhili Prefecture Records Fang Jiyi Records" [iv], it says: "Yang Yi, the word Yunsong, is from Douzhou, the official doctor Jin Ziguang Lu, and the director of Lingtai. Huang Chao broke the capital and stole the forbidden art from the secretary. He and his servants were both supervised from Chang 'an to Huaide Township (now Huangpi, the capital of Ningdu). Love its landscape, and live in it. Zeng Wenqi and Guangdong Liu (talking about Liu Jiangdong) were awarded with their skills, and they were known as the immortals who saved the poor. He was buried in Yaokou Dam of Hanxin Gorge in Yudu (now Yudu), now called Yang Gong Dam. He is the author of Qing nang Jing, Yi Long, Han Long, Acupoint Method and Dao Zhang (see Xin Youzhi, Gan Jun Zhi and Tong Zhi). According to "The Cradle of Early Hakka-Ningdu" [v]: "Yang Junsong was born in the eighth year of Tang Dahe (834). He was smart since childhood, and he was fond of observing the astronomical phenomena. He was talented and was a scholar of Gengchen (86). Died three years later (93) ... "After Yang Junsong arrived in Ningdu, he immediately went deep into the people to build houses and graves for the masses to find a" land of feng shui "and was busy. He is approachable. Everywhere he goes, he has tea when he is thirsty and food when he is hungry. According to the 981st page of the Journal of Ningdu Zhili Prefecture, Yang Yunsong visited Nangang Village in Ruijin County, and was hungry, so he asked his master for a meal. The room was full of guests, and the housewife invited Yang to sit outside for dinner, and then left when she was full. When the master learned of it, he hurried after it. Catch up, please choose a house site. Yang said: "Nothing! If you think that my chair has not moved, you should build a door in its place and give birth to a Langguan. " Do what he said, and it really came true. By the time the records were compiled in the fourth year of Qing Daoguang (1824), the Langguandi house had already collapsed, and the unique gate was still there. Although it boasted that Yang was prescient and mysterious, it also showed that Yang could be received by the masses wherever he went. There are many examples like this. He is intelligent and eager to learn and memorize. Manage your career and pay attention to the situation. When he first arrived in Ningdu, Liao Luan, the secretariat of Ezhou (now Wuchang), who abandoned his official position and retired, chose a secluded place. When he arrived at Zhongba (now Huangpi), he clapped his hands and said good. Huangpi River flows from west to east, and reaches the top of the middle dam, where a small stream runs parallel to the trunk and meets at a distance of about 1.5 kilometers. The Shuangxi river clamps the middle dam, which Yang called "boat-shaped". It really looks like a ship sailing through the wind and waves. Yang and his servant are both in seclusion here. Huangpi has long been developed and has become a giant town in Ningdu County. He delves into the matter and observes it carefully. A small object, like a stone in the river, is more than ten feet above the water surface, big and small, and curved in the middle, so it is called Huang. The legend of his disciple Liao San: "There is a Huang in the stream, and this is the Huang stream." Since then, the name of Huangpi Village in Ningdu has been changed from Zhongba to Huangxi, which has been used for thousands of years, and it was renamed Huangpi after liberation. There is a mountain in the northwest behind a big object like Huangpi Village. Yang Kao asked Liao Sanchuan, "What is this mountain like?" Sanchuan replied, "Like an ox". Yang asked, "Bull or cow?" Three preachers: "Like a bull." Yang deliberately said, "I look like a cow." Sanchuan argued: "Always listen to the master's teachings and cherish the bloated people. Seeing this as the teacher said, I dare to confirm it as a male cow. " Yang said, "Good! Go home and get the pickaxe. " Taking the pickaxe, Yang appointed the position and ordered three times to dig. Sure enough, two oval-shaped white stones were dug up at the foot of the mountain, which were shaped like kidneys (testicles), commonly known as "cow egg bags". Yang laughed and boasted that he had been able to observe the shape of the dragon. Since then, the principle of three-pass observation has been taught more patiently and carefully. Today, the second white stone is still there, and it has been listed as one of the "Eight Scenes of Zhongba" in the Ming Dynasty, named "The Fairy Trace of White Stone". "Fairy trail" means the wonders discovered by the immortals who helped the poor (see Gannan Hakka, No.7, 23, page 44, Three Texts of Yang Helping the Poor and Three Biographies of Liao by Deng Wenqin). Because Yang Junsong paid attention to the situation, he was later called "situation school, mountain school". He is a Hakka house site, paying special attention to choosing a "land of feng shui" surrounded by mountains and waters, with water on the back, plenty of sunshine and vitality. And use this to inculcate its followers to comply with it. He also benefited the poor people everywhere, except for building houses in auspicious places, such as the legendary "moving mountains to dam the mouth", "moving mountains to burn lime" and "digging hot water to clean up the body and wash things". Therefore, the Hakkas respectfully call him "the immortal who helps the poor".
