Huanghua town's economic situation

Huanghua town is an economically backward area in the northern mountainous area of Guangdong Province, and it is also a small town with the primary industry as the mainstay, with a relatively backward economy. With the correct leadership of party committees and governments at all levels and the strong support from all walks of life, the local party committees and governments led the people of the whole town to overcome difficulties unremittingly, and various economic and social undertakings continued to develop.

The infrastructure is improving day by day. There is a main road in the town, heading south 15km, connecting 107 national highway and Qinglian Expressway under construction, reaching Qingyuan, Pearl River Delta and other places. It is 70 kilometers to the east to Yingde City, and it can reach all parts of the country via Yingde Station of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway. The cement secondary roads (X366, S348) and 107 national highway (Qinglian Expressway) leading to Yingde urban area have been put into use, and the whole town is connected with administrative roads, realizing hard bottoming. The town has sufficient power supply capacity, and program-controlled telephones are basically popularized in towns and villages. The residents of the whole town have installed cable TV, and the whole town is connected to the Internet, and the degree of informatization is improving. Hotels, restaurants and other service facilities in the township are complete.

Relying on the peak forest resources, huanghua town regards the development of tourism as the leading industry of the town's development, and invites South China Normal University to draw up the tourism master plan of huanghua town, yingde city, and develop some tourism projects. With vigorous publicity and planning, before 2003, the average number of tourists was 60,000. After 2003, the number of tourists doubled. By 2005, the town received 440,000 tourists.
