The development of downtown North York.

The North York Center of Toronto Art Center is located in Yonge Street, the main street in Toronto, between Finch Avenue and Sheppard Avenue, and it is also one of the sections that run through the Center Street-University Road-Spadana Line of Toronto Metro. After being elected as the mayor of North York, Lai Shimin devoted himself to the development of this area in the1980s, and the appearance of the suburbs in this area gradually faded, forming a small city center. As for Sherpa Avenue south of the North York Center, since the opening of the Sherpa subway line, the development along it has mushroomed. On 40 1 expressway, the section across North America is the busiest, with as many as 400,000 cars crossing this section every day.

There are many shops and commercial buildings in this area, and there are also many large residential apartments, especially near the former municipal building, and the Toronto Art Center is built next to the former municipal building. There is a pool in front of the building, and in the south of the building is the Toronto Campus Committee Building (formerly the North York Education Bureau Building). There are two shopping malls in the northeast of the former municipal building, which are connected by underground passages and the passages are also connected with subway stations. The shopping mall in the east is called Queen's Road, which has a supermarket Loblaws and a cinema. As for another shopping mall located to the west of Yang Street, it is the location of the North York Central Library, the second largest public library in Toronto. In the building connected to the library, there is a swimming pool, an elderly center, a food stall, a school committee studio and a hotel.

Many world-renowned enterprises have also chosen to settle in this area, such as Procter &; Gamble), Nestle, Cadbury Adams, Swiss Lotus (Lindt &; Sprüngli), Equifax and Xerox have successively built office buildings on both sides of Yang Street, and the Canadian headquarters of McDonald's restaurant is also located in North York.

North York is also one of the areas with the best public security and living environment in greater toronto area. The residents in this area are mainly the middle class and the rich, and there are many large luxury residential areas in this area. Located between Yorkmills and Lawrence in Bayview, BridlePath is the richest and most influential luxury residential area in Canada. The property in this residential area is worth hundreds of millions to hundreds of millions of Canadian dollars. Residents are mainly the richest Canadian businessmen and world-famous sports and literary stars (celebrities such as Prince and celine dion all have real estate here). Other famous residential areas in this area include Pig Valley, Lawrence Park, York Mills and Willodell.
