Determination method of moisture content in flue gas

The test methods of moisture content in flue gas include moisture absorption method, condensation method and dry-wet bulb method. (1) moisture absorption method. A certain volume of flue gas is extracted from the flue, and the moisture in the flue gas is absorbed by the absorbent through the absorbent tube filled with the absorbent, and the weight gain of the absorbent tube is the amount of water contained in the known volume of flue gas.

(2) condensation method. Draw a certain volume of flue gas through the condenser, and determine the moisture content of flue gas according to the amount of condensed water and the amount of saturated water coming out of the condenser. (3) Dry and wet ball method. Make the flue gas flow through the dry and wet bulb thermometer at a certain speed. According to the readings of dry and wet bulb thermometers and the pressure of flue gas at the measuring point, the moisture content of flue gas is calculated.
