The list of the top 100 universities in Hong Kong is: Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, University of Science and Technology of China, Nanjing University, Sun Yat-sen University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Hong Kong High-end Talents Pass Scheme, referred to as "Gao Caitong", aims to attract high-end talents with rich work experience, high salary and high education from all over the world to explore opportunities in Hong Kong and issue visas for two years. These talents include high-income people and graduates from top universities in the world. Now the Hong Kong Immigration Department has worked out the KPI for the next three years in order to attract talents, so the future of Hong Kong will be a good bonus period.

You don't need to be employed by a Hong Kong employer before applying for the Gaocaitong scheme. Generally speaking, successful applicants will be allowed to stay in Hong Kong for 24 months for the first time, and there are no other conditions for stay. When applying for extension of stay, the applicant must have been employed in Hong Kong or have a certain scale of business. If the application is approved, the stay in Hong Kong will usually be extended for 3-3 years.

At the time of renewal, the assessable income of salaries tax in the previous tax year (such as pre-tax income in the mainland) reached HK$ 2 million or above, and it can be renewed as a "top talent" for six years at a time without other conditions of stay. Spouses and 18 unmarried children can apply for visas as dependents. Gao Caitong applicants can submit their applications together with their dependents at the time of application, and they can apply for up to eight dependents. Family members are generally linked to the length of residence of the guarantor, and they must still meet the qualification of family members when renewing their contracts.
