1) His name is Zhang Boju (1898-1982), his original name is Jia Qi, and his nickname is Cong Biguanzhu. A native of Xiangcheng, Henan. Together with Zhang Xueliang, Pu Dong, and Yuan Kewen, he is known as the "Four Young Masters of the Republic of China". He is the son of Zhang Zhenfang, the governor of Zhili and the Minister of Beiyang (adopted from his biological father Zhang Jinfang). Zhang Zhenfang is related to Yuan Shikai.

Zhang Boju, who was born into a scholarly family, is naturally intelligent and is known as a child prodigy. He entered a private school at a young age and received a new education. After graduating from elementary school, he followed his father to Peking. He later served in the ministries of Cao Kun, Wu Peifu and Zhang Zuolin, becoming a brigade commander. He eventually left the military because he was dissatisfied with the corrupt life of the warlords and assisted his father in managing the government. Important ancient calligraphy and paintings collected include "Pingfu Tie" by Lu Ji in the Western Jin Dynasty, "Spring Outing" by Zhan Ziqian in the Sui Dynasty, "Tie on the Upper Balcony" by the Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai, "Zhang Haohao's Poems" by Tang Du Mu, and "Zhu Shangzu Tie" by Huang Tingjian in the Song Dynasty. ", Zhao Ji's "Snow River Gui Chuan Picture Scroll", Yuan Qianxuan's "Mountain Dwelling Picture Scroll" and so on. He once said, "Gold is easy to get, and national treasures are unique. After leaving it for more than a month, Wang Shixiang completed the article "A Study on the Circulation of Lu Ji's Ping Fu Tie" in the Western Jin Dynasty. 5) In 1935, 39-year-old Zhang Boju took Pan Su, 18 years his junior, as his concubine. Under Zhang Boju's vigorous cultivation, Pan Su collaborated with Zhang Daqian to paint three times. The paintings often included Zhang Boju's poetry and calligraphy, which was a perfect match. In order to acquire Zhan Ziqian's "Spring Outing", he did not hesitate to sell his house (Li Lianying's old villa). When buying "Pingfu Tie" by Lu Ji in the Western Jin Dynasty, Pan Su sold his jewelry and bought it for 40,000 silver dollars. Calligraphy handed down from ancient times. For these priceless paintings and calligraphy, Zhang Boju was kidnapped by Wang Jingwei's men and demanded a ransom of 3 million, otherwise he would be killed. Pan Suyin had no money to buy paintings and calligraphy, so she looked at Zhang Boju once, but Zhang Boju secretly said that the calligraphy and painting must not be touched, especially the "Ping Fu Tie"! 6) Zhang Boju and Pan Su took photos on the moat after visiting the Forbidden City. 7) In the 1960s, Zhang Boju visited the ancient city of Ji'an (today's Jilin Jilin).
