Guangdong is the place where I live and work after entering society, but it is also the place where I travel the most. After all, there are many manufacturing plants in the Pearl River Delta region, including Dongguan, Guangzhou, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Jiangmen, Foshan, Shantou, Shanwei, Chaozhou, Zhaoqing (Sihui), Yangjiang, Taishan, Yunfu and Qingyuan. In the past three years, my schedule has been to go out on Monday morning and go home on Friday afternoon.

At that time, I was in my thirties, and I liked traveling very much, because I had the opportunity to visit some interesting places in the local area after work, not necessarily scenic spots. I prefer to walk on the street, or in the vegetable market and living area, so as to understand the life of the local people.

The second thing that impressed me was beef and beef balls. The beef balls in Shantou are particularly delicious, mainly crispy. Chaozhou cuisine is just one of the three major cuisines of Cantonese cuisine, and beef is a major feature of Chaoshan cuisine. I remember once going to a factory in Shantou to eat beef-based cooking at noon, and the person in charge of the factory took me to eat beef hot pot at night. Anyway, a kind of beef can eat many kinds of patterns.

Once, there was a boss in Shantou who was a woman. She believes in Buddhism and takes me to be a vegetarian at noon. But those vegetarian dishes are various and delicious. That was the first time I was a vegetarian!

Most people in Shantou are warm and generous and very polite. For example, they went to Shantou one year before the fifteenth day of the first month, and the boss gave them a profit (which means red envelope in Cantonese). I don't have much money, but my heart is rare. I still remember a boss picking me up at the station in a simple car. His factory is small, and it may still be in the early stage of business, but he is still very polite, saying that he can come to Shantou at any time when he has the opportunity in the future. Actually, I won't go to him casually, but it sounds so comfortable.

Of course, there are also factories. Now that I think about it, I don't know if the person in charge is stingy or ignorant of the world. At that time it took us more than four hours to go from Shenzhen by bus. When we go out early in the morning, it is at least noon 12 in Shantou, and sometimes even afternoon 1-2 (some factories are not necessarily in the urban area, but in the suburbs, they still have to take the bus from Shantou passenger station). I arrived at the factory at about 1 o'clock that day. The factory didn't send a car to meet me at the bus station this time. I took a taxi, and the person in charge of the factory saw me and didn't even ask, "XX, have you eaten?"

At that time, I was thin-skinned, and people didn't ask me or say anything, so I worked hungry all afternoon until I found a restaurant near the hotel for dinner at night. Now that I think about it, it was really stupid. In fact, even if the other party didn't invite me to dinner, I can also imply that I haven't eaten yet, and I need to solve my gastrointestinal problems before I work! When people are young, they are really a little stupid. If they care too much about other people's feelings, it is inevitable that sometimes they can only wronged themselves.

Let's talk about Shanwei again Shanwei is a good place. I like this small city very much. At that time, I often went to Shanwei and walked on the streets of this city. I can smell fish or seafood at any time, because she is at the seaside. Some communities are separated from the seaside by a road, and the distance should be less than 100 meters!

It was also here that I ate some seafood that I had never eaten before, and all kinds of fish and shrimp in the sea. I actually prefer to eat fish in the sea to shrimp, with less thorns and more meat. Some fish taste like tofu, and meat can be sucked and eaten.

I remember going to Shanwei and staying in the same hotel every time. Now I still remember the name of this hotel, which is called Holiday Inn Blue Island. It's not a five-star hotel, but it may feel good to get used to it. Mainly convenience. It is convenient to eat and shop, and it is not far from the seaside. Sometimes after dinner, a person goes for a walk by the sea, or gets up early in the morning, and can go for a walk by the sea before breakfast.

It was also here that I first saw fishermen coming back from the sea and filled baskets with hairtail with iron baskets. Hairtail is much bigger than I have ever seen, and most of them are one meter long. Perhaps because I like to eat hairtail, I always remember the basket with hairtail, and other fish are not very impressed.

Second, Zhaoqing (Sihui)

I often went to Zhaoqing on business one year, because our boss invested and set up a factory in Zhaoqing at that time and needed to prepare a lot of documents in the early stage, so I went for 3-4 days. That factory is located in a mountain village in Lianhua Town, Dinghu District. I come from Shenzhen. Every time I take a bus, I get off at an intersection called Li Antang.

When I first went there, there was no bus from the intersection of Li Antang to the factory, only a country bus, and it was not a bus company, but a private owner. Sometimes the factory will pick us up when there is a car, and sometimes all the cars in the factory are sent out, so we need to take a taxi or take CMB. But you know, it takes a long time to take a taxi at the intersection of towns and villages, so I take CMB more often.

Once after work in the afternoon, my colleagues and I took the CMB from the intersection of the factory to the hotel. Before we reached the Li Antang intersection, the bus broke down, and then the conductor and driver told us to get off and wait for the next bus. So we asked the boss to refund the fare, but he only refunded half of it, saying that he had walked a long way. In fact, he has to walk at least half the way to reach the Li Antang intersection.

Worst of all, we took the refund money and finally waited for the next bus, which was charged according to the whole fare. Forget it, we are unlucky, admit it! The worst thing is that the bus hasn't arrived at the hotel station yet. The boss of this bus said that he got off work early because of something, and the bus stopped at a corner two miles away from the hotel (about three stops away). Because there were only two foreigners in the car at that time, there were no other passengers, which was a bit of a deliberate bullying. He didn't want to refund a penny.

However, being in a foreign land and a stranger, the two of us (colleagues are also women) can only eat yabakui, and finally walked three stops back to the hotel. Of course, I had a quarrel with the driver before getting off the bus, and finally got off with a "hum" and scolding. Because of this, the impression of Zhaoqing people is not so good.

I stayed in the same hotel at the foot of Dinghu Mountain, but I can't remember the name. But if I have the chance to go again, I can still find it, because I used to go to this factory and have been living in this hotel. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to the entrance of Dinghushan.

Dinghushan is free to enter after 5 pm, which is also convenient for local people to go for a walk after dinner. Once it was a summer evening, because it got dark late. After dinner, I went to visit Dinghushan. There is a swimming pool, a resort hotel and a quiet environment. But because of the time, I didn't go to climb the mountain and returned. If you have another chance to go, you must go to Dinghu Mountain once.

Qixingyan scenic spot is in Zhaoqing city, and Dinghushan is far from the city, so there was no way to go to Qixingyan at that time. I hope I can visit Qixingyan in the future.

Sihui belongs to a county-level city below Zhaoqing, and the most popular specialty is sugar orange. Once we went to a restaurant of a scenic spot in Sihui for lunch. The name of the scenic spot has been forgotten, but the restaurant was quite impressive because the environment was very good and beautiful.

3. Zhuhai and Zhongshan

At that time, there were two ways to go from Shenzhen to Zhuhai, bus and ship, depending on the specific location of the factory. If the factory is near Kyushu Port, take a boat; if the factory is near Zhuhai Gongbei Bus Station, take a bus. Actually, I prefer to go by boat. It takes about one and a half hours from Shekou Port in Shenzhen to Kyushu Port in Zhuhai, and it doesn't get seasick. It feels faster to take a boat than a bus, because buses sometimes get stuck in traffic. You can also see the sea by boat.

My fate with Zhuhai started earlier. N years ago, when I was working in Dongguan, I made a special trip to Zhuhai with my best friend. Scenic spots like Yuanmingyuan, Ocean Park and fishermen by the sea have long existed. Therefore, before going on a business trip, I prefer to have dinner alone, go for a walk by the sea, or go to the streets and markets and walk into the living space of local people.

Generally speaking, the person in charge of the factory in Zhuhai is quite satisfied, and keeps due courtesy and distance. I remember there was a factory that washed jeans. The boss is in his forties and his son is in his twenties. Father and son jointly run the factory. They left a deep impression on me, and the heads of many other factories hardly remember what it was like now.

Zhongshan is connected with Zhuhai. What impressed me most about Zhongshan was the Triangle Zhenming Sen Group. Their factory building is very distinctive. It is a very long and large building with an area of over 654.38+ million square meters. There is an artificial lake in front, and we often only go to one of them. The boss is generous and the person in charge is very good.

Fourth, Jiangmen

This is the first city I went to on business. As I just entered the auditing industry, I am still in the learning stage. I remember going with my boss, a Hong Kong resident, and staying in a three-star hotel. The environment is also very good! After dinner in the evening, I wrote a report in the hotel and had a hotel buffet for breakfast.

The first time I stayed in a hotel for work, I was writing a report at night and didn't have time to go out. But through this period of time, I have a basic understanding of the industry I am about to engage in, and I have strengthened my confidence in this industry.

Many hotels in Changping have stayed, and half of the hotels we stayed in were recommended by the factory. After all, the locals all know which hotel is closest to their factory and the accommodation conditions are relatively familiar.

Compared with the factories in Zhongshan, Huizhou and Shantou, the factories in Dongguan feel that the overall level is better. Dongguan is a famous manufacturing city. With the rapid development of manufacturing industry, it has become a relatively fast-growing city.

If there is any regret, that year, the head of a factory near Chengnan District of Dongguan City was the eldest sister. She is also from Chengnan District. She suggested that I buy a property near Cheng Nan bus station. At that time, it was only 2700 yuan per square meter, but I was conservative. I thought it was not good to work in Shenzhen and buy a house in Dongguan. Now that property should be around 1.5 million square meters!

Speaking of which, this elder sister is really good to me, but I didn't seize the opportunity. I remember once she took me to eat fish. There is a dish with only fish heads, not big fish heads with chopped peppers, but many small fish heads. This is a dish specially prepared for people who like to eat fish heads. Mainly can suck the "snot water" in the fish head.

Another time, she actually took me to her friend's house for dinner. She is from Chengnan District, Dongguan, and she is an elder sister. She ate a special dish, which was actually a water spinach, but she put some tofu in it. This way of eating is also my first experience. Maybe it's because my personal taste is better, and I think it's delicious, too. Now that I think of this sister, I have to sigh with emotion, because she is also my noble, and she is really good to me.

It was only at that time that WeChat was not popular, and I changed my phone number several times for work reasons, but there was no phone number and no contact information at the back. Thinking of her at the moment, I just hope she is all right. On the road of life, we will meet all kinds of people, and it is rare for so few people to treat us sincerely.

The intransitive verb Huizhou

From Shenzhen to Huizhou, there are several bus stops, one is Huiyang Station, the other is Huizhou Passenger Station, and there is Danshui Station. It is necessary to determine which bus stop to take according to the location of the factory. In fact, there is another place in Huizhou that is very close to Dongguan Shilong, and that is Boluo County. There is an outdoor scenic spot in Huizhou, Luofu Mountain.

During the years when I worked in Shijie Town, Dongguan (Shilong is adjacent to Shijie), I climbed Luofu Mountain twice. The scenery is very good. Once, when I was near the top of the mountain, it began to rain. There are many clouds on the top of the mountain, which feels like a fairyland.

The memory of Huizhou is that there are mountains beside the city, and the people in the factory are not enthusiastic but not cold. Huiyang District is near Shenzhen. I once went to Danshui on business and ate in a five-star hotel at noon. In addition to the person in charge, there is also a new girl. She is the assistant of the person in charge. She should have graduated less than two years ago.

The hotel I went to at noon had a good environment. Before dinner, we wandered around the hotel. The girl at the back actually asked me such a question: "XX, do you like eating in such a place?" I don't remember my answer at that time, but I still remember what she said later. She said, "My dream is to eat in this place every day." Young man, anyone who has a dream is great. Come on!

Moved by this girl's idea, in my opinion, it is better to have a dream than no dream. A person should have a dream when he is young, so that he can have a direction to work hard. I wonder if her dream has come true after so many years?

Seven. Yangjiang

Finally, Yangjiang is a little far from Shenzhen. At that time, there was no high-speed train to Yangjiang, and it took about 3.5 hours by bus. The most famous product in Yangjiang is "Eighteen Scissors", but the factory I went to Yangjiang at that time was not scissors, but a factory that made nail care sets, such as nail clippers, earwax removal sets and hardware products.

There is also a special fruit in Yangjiang, namely jackfruit. Walking on the road at that time, there were jackfruit trees on both sides of the street. I once bought a big jackfruit, which was my first time to know jackfruit, but to be honest, I personally think that jackfruit is not delicious, and durian is better.

Yangjiang has the sea, so the person in charge of the factory usually takes us to eat seafood, because the price is very affordable, but since I have been to Shanwei, I personally always think that eating seafood is more delicious than Shanwei. I think it may be because of personal emotional factors. I prefer Shanwei, so I think she is better!

There is also Jiujiang Bridge connecting Nanhai District of Foshan City and Heshan City of Jiangmen City. I've been there several times, too, where Jiujiang Bridge collapsed on June, 200715. Every time I pass by, I can't help but sigh: the ship can't go around, because the damage caused by the ship hitting the dock is too great. Fortunately, most people are law-abiding, so we can survive safely.

Now I want to come to the whole Guangdong Province, almost everywhere. The tiles in Foshan and the furniture in Shunde are all memorable. These specialties have promoted the development of local economy. Looking back now, I really saw many interesting things and met many people. I wonder if they are all well? How many people will remember me?
