The ancient town is located in Jianshe Village, Yuping Town, Libo County, Qiannan Prefecture, Guizhou Province.

The ancient town of Libo covers an area of 1.099 mu (about 725,340 square meters), with a total construction area of about1.00 million square meters and a total investment of over 3.2 billion yuan.

The ancient town of Libo combines the cultural characteristics of the four local minorities of Buyi, Shui, Miao and Yao in Libo, supplemented by Huizhou architectural style in Ming and Qing Dynasties, flowing bridges in the south of the Yangtze River and garden art.

The main attractions of Libo ancient town include Shui nationality, Buyi water town, Yao nationality, Wang Pan Square and Miao village. There are also some intangible cultural heritage exhibition areas, such as intangible cultural exhibition corridors, intangible cultural heritage lists, and inheritors' on-site production skills.
