Classification of carpet materials

According to carpet materials, there are pure wool carpets, blended carpets, chemical fiber carpets and plastic carpets.

Pure wool carpet

The pure wool carpet in China is made of local sheep wool. Its fiber is long, tensile, elastic, shiny and slightly thick and powerful, and it is the best raw material for weaving carpets in the world. At present, some manufacturers use China native sheep wool mixed with imported wool fibers (such as New Zealand and other countries) to give full play to the characteristics of imported wool fibers, such as fine fiber and bright luster, and achieved good results.

Chemical fiber carpet

Synthetic carpets can be divided into four types: nylon, polypropylene, polyester and acrylic. Nylon carpet is the most common and commonly used carpet, which is characterized by strong wear resistance and overcomes the shortcomings of pure wool carpet that it is easy to corrode and mold. Its pattern and color are similar to pure wool, and the price of nylon carpet is higher than other chemical fiber carpets.

Blended carpet

Blended carpet refers to a carpet made by mixing two or more fibers. The advantage of blended carpet is that the advantages of various fibers can complement each other and the disadvantages can also make up for each other, thus making the performance of carpet more perfect.

Plastic carpet

There is a kind of hydrophobic blanket, which is also a very common one. Waterproof, non-slip, easy to clean, generally placed in shopping malls, hotels, houses, bathrooms.

Silk carpet

It is a high-grade floor and wall decoration, which embodies the wisdom of craftsmen, has excellent practical value and collection value, and is expensive.
