The correct way to look at a thermometer

The correct way to check the thermometer is as follows:

1, after we got the thermometer, we held it outside the mercury column and observed it. We can find that the scale range on the thermometer is 35-42℃.

We can find a line between the scales. If we can't find this wire, we can turn the thermometer around or take it to a better place.

3, along the direction of the scale line, see where the scale line stops, this is the current temperature, for example, the temperature below is 38.8℃, obviously has a fever, and needs to go to the hospital for treatment.

Application mode

1. Before use, adjust the thermometer below 35℃.

2. Put the liquid part of the thermometer under your arm and measure it for 3-5 minutes.

3. Take out the thermometer, face the scale and observe the scale where the liquid reaches.

4, look at the data, the normal temperature of the human armpit is 36-37℃, and above 37℃ is a fever.

Matters needing attention

1, don't drink boiled water or cold drinks before measurement, so as not to affect the actual body temperature, and then measure it half an hour after exercise or bathing.

2. The maximum temperature of the glass thermometer is 42℃, and the temperature shall not exceed 42℃ during storage. Thermometers cannot be washed in hot water, nor can they be used to measure the temperature of water and other objects.

3. If you have sweat under your arm, you need to dry it and test again. If you accidentally loosen it before the time, you should measure and time it again.

4. If many people use the same thermometer, disinfect it with alcohol before use.
