How many days is it appropriate to go to Furano and Meiying? How to arrange the route?

Furano and Meiying have a vast area, and natural and artificial landscapes coexist. As one of the most popular tourist destinations in Hokkaido, it is recommended to stay for more than 2 days and enjoy the slow time here. Even so, there are many scenic spots in Fuliangye and Meiying, and the scenic spots are scattered, so it is difficult to cover everything in one tour. It is a destination worth visiting many times.

Three-day tour route

Day 1 day: Take a bus from Sapporo to Mameniu via Asahikawa, hike and rent a bicycle to visit the surrounding area of Mameniu. You can visit along the "Panorama Road", and you can pay special attention to the colorful hills, Christmas trees, lavender in Jianye Farm and nearby "Wukesong". Then take the JR ordinary train to Meiying. In the afternoon, rent a bicycle in front of Meiying Station, and visit the rural scenery of Meiying along the "patchwork road" to find the favorite places for photographers and TV advertisements. Then take a bus to Platinum Hot Springs to find the mysterious green pool. You can stay at Platinum Hot Springs at night, or you can stay at Youth Travel Service and B&B of Meima Niu or Meiying (accommodation must be booked in advance, and Platinum Hot Springs generally do not accept temporary stay).

The next day: Get up early and go under the Christmas tree near Niu or Wukesong to photograph the solitary tree in the morning glow. After that, go to the deep mountains in the area of Mi Shang Liang Ye and the flower fields around Mi Shang Liang Ye. Spend the night in hotels, youth hostels or homestays around Furano or Furano City.

Day 3: In the morning, go to the Prince Hotel in New Furano and visit the Wind Garden and the Clock Cafe in the forest. In the afternoon, visit Fuliangye Winery, Grape Juice Shop, Cheese Workshop and other places. Return to Sapporo or Asahikawa in the evening.
