Will the hotel staff clean the room?

If you stay in a hotel for three consecutive days, the waiter will not clean the room. If no one is in the room during the day, the attendant will not enter.

Hotel cleaning is mostly done after guests check out and leave. It mainly involves cleaning, replacing quilt covers, pillows and other supplies, and tidying up things. I have been to Beijing before and contacted the hotel where I stayed for 5 days. The waiter asked if cleaning was needed. If he said no, it would not be cleaned. The waiter will not enter the room without permission when no one is present. There is usually a "Do Not Disturb" sign in the room. If you don't want to be disturbed, you can hang it on the handle outside the door, or press the "Do Not Disturb" switch. There is a sign on the wall outside the door. When you want to be cleaned, just use the room phone to call the front desk to notify you.
