What is an advertising wifi router?

WIFI advertising router came into being because of the popularity of mobile Internet. At first, WIFI routers were only used on laptops. Later, because of the popularity of smart phones, mobile phone users surf the Internet for free, without charging traffic charges. Although 3G/4G networks are popular, traffic charges have been very expensive, and users are getting farther and farther away from the mobile Internet, WIFI network has become a demand point for mobile phone users. In this case, the business model of free WIFI came into being, and the WIFI advertising router appeared at the same time.

Current applications: buses, taxis, trains, squares, cafes, shopping malls, hotels, etc.

The WIFI advertising router itself is a WIFI advertising system.

Divided into: hardware end, software end

Hardware: WIFI router

Software: backstage web advertising management system, front-end user system.

Description of system principle:

After connecting WIFI, passengers will see the advertising information first; Then jump to the login registration page, the first time? Passengers using bus WIFI need to register with their mobile phone number (SMS verification code) before logging in, and they can surf the Internet after logging in successfully; For registered passengers, you need to log in with your mobile phone number and password to surf the Internet.

Function Introduction of WIFI Advertising System

WIFI hotspot

Provide a wifi hotspot for passengers, and passengers can directly search for connections (no password verification/password verification is required); After connecting WIFI, AP is dynamically allocated (dynamic? Assign) IP, when AP acts as the gateway of LAN; The number of users who can support normal use is > 30.

HTTP redirection

After the passenger connects to wifi, any URL entered by opening the browser will be redirected to the AP local website or the designated external website (configurable), and will be redirected to the AP local website by default.

software upgrade

Support local wifi upgrade and remote server upgrade through 3G network.

Advertising content update

Advertising, website information, etc. , support local wifi and remote FTP upgrade server through 3G network.

statistics

Flow statistics

Mainly statistics 3G traffic (uplink and downlink). On the platform, you can view the total 3G traffic of the current equipment, and you can view the history according to different time periods or dates. At the same time, historical data can be stored and data reports can be generated.

Advertising statistics

Statistics of advertising clicks, all stored in the router, reported to the application server regularly (configurable time); You can also query and report manually;

Monitoring management

Provide online monitoring function

1. The router first sends a login registration package to the application server until the application server receives the router registration package and replies the registration success response package; After that, the router periodically shakes hands with the application server, and the frequency of shaking hands can be set. If the handshake fails, it will be repeated three times. If it still fails three times, it is considered as an application server or network anomaly. At this time, the router does not provide Internet service, but mobile phone users can still access local advertisements and web information on the router. At the same time, the application server thinks that the router is offline.

User online notification

When the WIFI client logs in, the AP needs to inform the application server that the user is online, and the platform can see the mobile phone number, login time, MAC address, acquired IP address and online time of the WIFI client login account.

User offline notification

When the WIFI client is offline, the AP needs to notify the application server. If after a period of time (configurable), no data packet is generated, AP considers the user offline. The offline time of the WIFI client can be displayed on the management platform.

External network authentication

Passengers browsing Internet information must log in to the application server to register their mobile phone numbers (three operator numbers can be used), and can browse Internet information only after verification. After verification, the application server no longer needs to control passengers.

Authentication step

1. After the user connects to WIFI through the handheld terminal, he will first see the advertisement information, and then the AP will direct the user's HTTP request to the login interface of the verification server;

2. If the user is not registered, you need to fill in the mobile phone number, set the login password, and then get the mobile phone verification code. The application server sends the corresponding verification code to the user's mobile phone, and the user needs to enter the mobile phone verification code in the authentication interface to register successfully;

3. The user has registered, enter the mobile phone number and password for login authentication;

4. After successful login authentication or registration, users can browse the Internet.

5. Password retrieval function

6. If the user forgets the login password, he can click the "Forgot Password" link in the login interface to open the password retrieval page. After entering the mobile phone number, click Retrieve Password. At this point, the user login password is sent to the user by SMS.

7. After receiving the password, the user returns to the login interface and enters the password to log in.

8. Users can retrieve their passwords up to 3 times a day or within a certain period of time.

Description:

9. For SMS authentication and SMS password acquisition, the SMS agent sends the corresponding SMS content. In practical application, customers suggest to use SMS agent, or customize it according to customers' actual needs.

QOS function

You can set the total bandwidth of 3G outlets (the specific bandwidth needs to be based on local actual network conditions), and you can limit the bandwidth of each WIFI client.
