How to lay the floor tiles?

The advantage of dry paving floor tiles is low hollowing rate.

Operation process:

1. Basic treatment: clean laitance, floor ash, etc. Brush with chisel or steel wire on the base, and then clean up the aggradation with broom.

2. Find the elevation: according to the horizontal setting-out and design height, pop up the upper elevation control line of the surface layer on the surrounding walls and columns.

3. Brick arrangement: Leave a seam in the room according to the size of the tiles, and arrange the placement position of the tiles. Generally, tiles are laid to the room from the door of the room, and the flatness is checked at any time with a 2m guiding rule and level. 8- 10mm expansion joint should also be left between the floor tile and the wall, and the floor tile should be paved by sections and parts in a large area. When laying floor tiles, the wall should be close to the ground, and the kicking should be close to the ground, especially when laying bricks in the bathroom. If there are any design requirements, accurate frame lines should be popped up according to the design drawings and marked to prevent mistakes.

4. Laying dry-mixed materials: Before laying, the base should be wet, or the interface agent should be brushed, and the dry-mixed materials (cement mortar) should be leveled with a rake.

5. Tile laying: put the tile on the mixture, level it with a rubber hammer, then pick it up, pour an appropriate amount of plain cement slurry on the dry mixture, and at the same time apply plain cement slurry with a thickness of about 2~5mm on the back of the tile, then put the tile on the leveled dry mixture, and sit up straight with a rubber hammer according to the elevation control line and the founder control line.

6. Smooth jointing: After paving a room or a section, sprinkle water with a watering can, and strike with a wooden hammer and a hardwood clapper hammer for about 15 minutes in the order of paving bricks, without missing strike, and level it with a level while compacting.

7, after compaction, first pull line to straighten the vertical seam, and then straighten the horizontal seam, well versed in. After adjusting the joint, level it with a wooden hammer and clappers, and wipe off the residual mortar in the joint or on the brick surface.

8. If there is an empty drum, the cement mortar inside should be removed from the edge of the brick and filled with a slightly lower gray thickness than the original brick;

9. Sealing: After the floor tiles are laid, clean the joints and seal them with jointing agent.
