Goed to school in 1945 and completed primary school and middle school in Jilin City. In 1957, he was admitted to the Chinese Department of Northeast Normal University and graduated in July 1961. He stayed at the school to teach text selection and writing. In July 1979, he supported the construction of Tibet and taught writing and modern Chinese in the Political Language Department of Tibet Normal University. Returned to Northeast Normal University in early 1982. From February to July 1982, he went to the Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University for further study. After returning to school, he taught children's literature. He became an associate professor in 1987, a master's tutor in 1988, and a professor in 1994. Retired in February 1998. He began his amateur creation in 1956, mainly writing poetry. After teaching, he began theoretical research on creative synchronization, focusing on two aspects: children's literature and poetry.
