Remote sensing imaging principle
Remote sensing technology refers to a modern comprehensive technology that receives electromagnetic wave information from high altitude or outer space, and scans, photographs, transmits and processes the information, so as to remotely control, measure and identify various features and phenomena on the earth's surface. The most basic thing of remote sensing technology is actually remote sensing image. Whether you design sensors or focus on remote sensing applications, you work around images.
In remote sensing imaging, due to the influence of the attitude, altitude, speed of the aircraft and the rotation of the earth, the image is geometrically distorted relative to the ground target. This distortion is manifested in the squeezing, twisting, stretching and deviation of pixels relative to the actual position of ground targets. Error correction of geometric distortion is called geometric correction.
