Looking back on the most beautiful season of going to Gannan in July (I)
For Gannan, it was love at first sight.
I heard a long time ago that "Gannan Tibetan Area" condensed and brought together the essence of Tibetan areas. I am a photographer, whether it is the natural landscape of the sacred mountain lake or the humanistic customs of the Tibetan plateau. On July 8, I rushed to Chengdu with my beloved camera and participated in the 9 days and 8 nights trip of "Sedan Nianbao Yuze Grassland Flower Photography".
I'm halfway through my trip to Gannan, so I want to review the details of my trip and share them with you.
The first day of the trip
At 7 o'clock in the morning on July 9, I started a beautiful journey against the sunrise in Chengdu. ...
Along the way, through the scenic belt of miyaluo, you can already see portraits and decorations with distinctive styles of celebrities.
Then, I finally arrived at Zhuokeji Guanzhai, which is the first in-depth photography creation point of this trip. As soon as we got there, our colleagues couldn't wait to take out their cameras and take pictures.
The Siso residence in Zhuokeji Guanzhai has unique architectural features of Jia Rong's Tibetan style, and maintains the traditional architectural style of Jia Rong's ancestors "taking stone as the room". The stockades are row upon row, strewn at random, and look like a fortified castle from a distance.
It is said that if you have a bird's-eye view of the whole residential building from a distance, you will be surprised to find that Siso Tibetan Village resembles the pattern of "Huayi" in Tibet's eight-treasure map and looks like a "Chinese knot", which represents Sakyamuni's heart. There are many local believers, and our group was attracted by the Buddha statue opposite the door and couldn't help but press the shutter.
The bluestone path in the stockade is straight and vertical, turning, and the villagers are walking with their hands behind their backs. This scene seems to have solidified the years.
The second day of the trip
July 10, the second day of the trip, we went to Seda Celestial Burial Terrace first. Celestial burial places a dream of ascending to heaven. This burial method is influenced by the spirit of "giving my life to feed the tiger" in the biography of Sakyamuni, and it is still popular today.
Our group chose to shoot at the gate of Wuming Buddhist College at an altitude of about 3,900 meters. The highest point in Tancheng is about 4,200 meters above sea level, and sertar county is about 3,800 meters above sea level. From a distance, you can see that the observation deck of the celestial burial platform is packed.
We can see a panoramic view from a high place. Thousands of miles of valleys are densely covered with temples, which makes me awe. Feng Ming, a fellow teacher, also began to lead us to choose scenes to shoot, adding a bit of mystery to the Buddhist Academy in the twilight.
It is far away from the hubbub, natural and primitive, and a rainbow in the sky is like a bridge to the Buddhist paradise, connecting heaven and earth.
Twilight is getting darker and brighter, like an ethereal soul pursuing good thoughts and Zen in the world.
On the third day of the trip
On July 1 1, in order to shoot the sunrise in Seda, we set out at five o'clock in the morning, and recorded the red Tibetan Buddha country at the beginning of the article. The morning mist is like silk winding around the valley, and the thousand red Buddhist temples are like shy goddesses, covered with white gauze.
Before the shutter of the fingertip could capture its shyness, the golden sunshine had already turned over the waters of Qian Shan and filled the velvet ditch. Seda is particularly magnificent and holy against the blue sky and white clouds.
Later, we went to another core shooting spot of this trip, Nianbao Yuze, also called Guoluo Mountain. According to legend, it is the birthplace of Guoluo tribe, so it is highly respected. Nianbaoyu, the main peak, goes straight into the blue sky, with the highest altitude of 5369 meters, so it is called the closest place to heaven. In the evening, we spent the night in a tent in the scenic spot and photographed the starry sky of Nianbao Yuze.
Baoyu was not electrified in 2008, and the electricity in the scenic spot was generated by gasoline generators. At night, after the power failure at 10, the scenic spot was dark and there was no light pollution, which was simply a holy place for starry sky photography.
The fourth day of the trip
On July 12, our trip was to take pictures of flowers, grasslands, snow-capped mountains and lakes in Yuze, Nianbao. From the beginning of June to the end of July every year, it is the annual jade policy flower season. Whether it's a majestic and beautiful mountain peak, a mirrored lake or a warm and enchanting flower sea, it's an excellent shooting object.
Teacher Feng Ming has been to Gannan for filming many times. He skillfully led us to several excellent scenic spots that were not easy to find and taught us to shoot the scenery.
He has been patiently instructing us how to shoot the best effect, such as clouds in the sky, how to adjust the camera aperture under different illumination, how to choose the angle and composition.
After the demonstration of teacher Feng Ming's framing, the team members began to shoot framing. Occasionally there are scenic spots that are difficult to cross, and group members are willing to lend a helping hand. Everyone has established friendship and felt happy during the trip.
Teacher Feng Ming not only explained the photography skills to us according to the local scenery and cultural characteristics, but also shared the anecdotes of his previous trip to Gannan. What surprised us even more was that he was able to invite local lamas to play with us and enjoy filming.
The local lamas are very hospitable, and some of them are willing to be our background models to make the photos more attractive.
Finally, let's take a look at some excellent pictures taken by the team members under the guidance of Teacher Feng Ming.
As of today, the trip to Gannan is over half, and a group of friends from our beautiful photo tour also took a group photo together.
Finally, the local Lama friends also took photos with us.
Tomorrow's trip to Gannan will continue, and the scenery in Tibetan areas will bring heartfelt shock. At the same time, I learned a lot of shooting skills from teacher Ming Feng and heard a lot of Gannan customs. I feel that traveling with teachers really benefits me a lot!
Looking forward to the first bay of the Yellow River in Jiuqu tomorrow, I must use what I have learned to shoot its magnificence.
Follow-up travel notes will be released soon, so stay tuned.
