What's the difference between Japanese and Korean SLR?
Japanese camera
The imaging quality is generally excellent, because two Japanese companies, Canon and Sony, have been developing CCD, CMOS image sensors and image processing chips for a long time. In fact, the digital camera was invented in Japan. In terms of image processing technology, Japanese cameras are generally tough and take fine photos, but in terms of design and functional innovation, Japanese cameras are somewhat stagnant.
Korean cameras, mainly Samsung.
The key to the Korean version of the camera is its image sensor, because the quality of the image sensor developed by Korea itself is far less than that of Japan, especially in terms of high ISO imaging performance. Japan Pentax once used Samsung's image sensor in Korea, such as K-7 SLR. In this way, the imaging of K-7 SLR has obvious noise above ISO400, while the ISO of Japanese SLR of the same generation is as high as 1600. Therefore, Pentax has abandoned Korean CMOS and switched to Japanese CMOS sensors.
However, Korean cameras are more beautiful in appearance design, and mm people prefer them. Hehe, for example, Samsung's micro-single NX 100 is really better than Bisogni's Panasonic Olympus in appearance.
However, in terms of practicality, it is still recommended to choose Japanese.
