Huang Yongheng’s personal experience
In 1986, he collaborated with Tsui Hark on "The Worker Emperor" (1986), and was recommended by Tsui Hark to serve as the director of photography in "A Better Tomorrow" (1986) directed by John Woo. "A Better Tomorrow" was an unprecedented success at the box office after its release, launching Huang Yongheng's brilliant photography career.
Having worked behind the camera for more than 20 years, Huang Yongheng has participated in nearly 50 film productions, including Johnnie Johnnie's "A Lang's Story" (1989), John Woo's "Love" (1990) and "Peace Hotel" (1995) by Wei Jiahui.
