What is it like to study at Taiyuan University of Technology?

A freshman from Taili Software has been studying (living) at Taiyuan University of Technology (Mingxiang Campus) for one year. Let me talk about my experience.

When freshmen started school last year, I came to Yuci Village for the first time. Oh no, it’s a university town. There were a lot of people on the first day of school, and there was a huge traffic jam outside the school gate to drop off students. Finally found a parking space, accompanied by my parents. I stepped into the gate of Royal Institute of Technology.

I have to say that the school’s architectural style is still very advanced. The splendid walls and sapphire blue glass windows shine in the sunlight. (Compared to the serious cement dust of the traditional Chinese medicine medicine next door, and the colorful teaching building of the primary school of Jinzhong College in front, I can’t help but sigh, it is really royal~)

When we arrived at the downstairs of dormitory No. 5, a majestic high-rise building stood In a dormitory with a lot of shorter men. You need to swipe the access card to enter the building. (I remember that there was no identity verification two months before the school started, and I was accompanied by the voice of "Those without a card, please register" coming and going every day) There are three elevators in the girls' dormitory (I was squeezed into the corner of the elevator and shivered during peak hours every day) ?. Spacious quadruple room with upper bed and lower table. There is a small balcony with ample light and wind. There are two bathrooms on the first floor (including toilets and sinks), a water room with a hot water machine (warm and hot water for drinking and hot water for washing), a washing machine, and a hair dryer (a hair dryer is used in the dormitory) If the circuit breaker is tripped, the tools will be confiscated by the hostess).

The school has two large playgrounds in the east and west, a flat and comfortable football field, a standard plastic track, and a basketball court in the west playground (every afternoon and evening there is the sound of shoe soles rubbing against the rubber bottom, and basketballs bouncing up and down. The sound of the ball hitting the backboard and going into the basket).

The teaching buildings in the east area of ??the school include Xingzhi Building, Xingmian Building and Xingyuan Building. The teaching buildings in the West District include Xingsi Building and Xingyi Building. Whenever I need to go to class from the East District to the West District, I pass by the entrance of the library and see groups of students going from the West District to the East District, crossing each other in large numbers. I can't help but think of animal migration~

When you glance at the driver's cold and fearless eyes, the steering wheel is turning wildly and the accelerator is never lifting your foot, you sigh softly: God drives~

There was a saying, which one will be completed first, the library of Taiyuan University of Technology or the Taiyuan Metro? (kind smile) As the only 211 university in the province, the school library is still under construction. (Imagine my child holding my hand in front of the hospital bed in the future, choking with sobs: "Grandma, Taili's library is finally repaired~" Manual dog head) The exterior building of the library is complete, and the interior decoration is still being worked on. Sometimes I go to the Internet celebrity libraries of other schools around me, and I can’t help but burst into tears of envy. (No, I didn’t cry, it was blown by the wind!) Now I go to the temporary library to read and borrow books. There are some professional books, magazines, newspapers, etc., and there are also many study rooms in the building. When it was relatively cold last winter, it was very pleasant to stay in the warm study room of the temporary library, listening to soft music and reading books.

Because the East District Girls’ Dormitory is a golden treasure. As the dormitory building closest to the teaching building, there are supermarkets, canteens, bathhouses, milk tea shops, and fruit shops downstairs. What’s the use of these legs if I want them! So the little moist days made me gain weight for a time (crying bitterly). Let’s talk about daily life in a fat house with the dormitory as the center and a radius of fifty meters.

The fruit shop has a wide variety of fresh fruits, and seasonal fruits are affordable. Buying other fruits once is a pain (the humbleness of slum girls). The milk tea shop has a nice environment and is a good place to learn about dating after class. The cafeteria Qingyunxuan has five floors, and the first floor is the supermarket. Although the supermarket is small, it has all the essentials. As long as you want to buy, there is everything here. There are so many delicious things in the cafeteria: the iron pot braised noodles and the wide noodle pot on the second floor. Instant noodles from fast food restaurants. Three layers of Shaxian snacks, sizzling rice, sesame sauce noodles, stir-fried rice, diced chicken noodles, and wheat-filled pancakes. Four layers of mutton steamed buns. Five layers of spicy hot pot. If you get tired of eating in the canteen, you can go to the snack bar behind the supermarket. There are pancakes filled with lotus leaf pancakes, grilled cold noodles, and hot and sour noodles. Recently, a Heihongtang chain store opened downstairs (they are all obstacles in my weight loss journey!)

Life in the East District is extremely nourishing. Let’s talk about the West District.

The first time I went to the West District was to pick up express delivery at Ximen. I sigh that the school is really big. I am measuring the place where I will live in the future with my feet step by step. The small square in the West District is bustling every day, and various community activities are held here (compared to the square in the East District, it is particularly deserted hahaha). The West District has a more lively atmosphere than the East District, with a living atmosphere like a lively community. The Student Activity Center is where the evening ceremony games are held. We hold a New Year's Day party here, a psychological melodrama competition, and watch drama performances.

The school has many organizations and activities. I saw a team from the Dreamwing Roller Skating Club cleaning the streets at night in the summer. There are hip-hop artists in the West District Plaza, and 113 Dance Club holds a special street dance performance. A high-quality drama produced by Sanmao Drama Club. Qingze Xinyu takes videos of neighbors. Everything is in order and enriches my college life.

This short one year at Polytechnic University has given me many new thoughts on life. All in all, the harvest this year has been huge. I hope that I can always spend my colorful university life at PolyU with a sincere heart.
