The Swedish Film Association also started making films from 1966. It is a film information and scientific research unit. The Stockholm Film Archives belongs to its own film club association and is one of the largest film archives in the world. The Film Academy has been attached to the Film School since 1965 to train film directors, photographers and recording personnel. Film actors are trained by the school affiliated to Stockholm Theatre. Stockholm University has a film art department. Starting from 1979, Gothenburg holds an international film festival every year. The main film publications are Chaplin, Movies Like an Altar and Film and Television.
