The main attractions of Sanniang Bay

Sanniangzi

Also known as "Three Old Women Stone", the name comes from a beautiful legend. There are only three handsome guys living in Sanniang Bay. They are in the same boat, sharing the same bed, helping each other and loving each other. One day, three fairies came down to earth, found this unique bay and a hard-working handsome boy, and decided to marry the fisherman's three boys. When the Jade Emperor learned about it, he stayed for three years. Every day, the husband goes fishing in the sea, and the wife weaves a net at home, loves each other, has children and lives a happy life. Three years later, the Jade Emperor didn't see the three fairies come back. In great anger, a storm set off and swallowed up the fishing boat. Three ladies stood side by side by the sea, braving the wind and waves, waiting for their husbands to return. Over time, they became granite with three pillars standing side by side, and the sea witnessed their faithful love. This is the origin of "Sanniang Bay". It used to be more than ten meters high and twenty meters wide, standing side by side like three erect fingers. The "four old" was destroyed when it was demolished in the 1960s. The Sanniang Stone we saw is three granite blocks with similar appearance found in Longyandong, Guangdong. Local fishermen often burn incense and worship before going out to sea on holidays, praying for good health, peace and good luck.

Sow stone (sea mother stone)

Seen from the side, this stone is like a sow crawling in the sea, and a few pebbles beside it are like pigs squatting beside the sow. Its shape is very similar to that of a sow with young, and it is lifelike. It is said that in the age when Sanniang Bay was sparsely populated, a large number of jellyfish grew here, and the jellyfish devoured the piglets playing by the sea. The sow died heroically to protect the piglet, and the piglet jumped into the sea to save the sow. People say that the sow is dead.

Haigoushi

Legend has it that when Su Dongpo was an official in Hainan, he felt unwell as long as he sat in his official position. Later, he sent someone to find out that the left ear of the fur seal in Sanniang Bay reflected sunlight to his official chair, so he ordered the dog's ear to be removed. So the fur seal we see today has become a one-eared fur seal.

Romantic Stone (Baxiantan)

"Romantic Stone" is also called "Eight Immortals Beach". Piles of granite stones have different shapes, some like cakes, some like apples, and some like gourds ... Legend has it that the Eight Immortals once played in the South China Sea and rested here. They accidentally found three fairies-San Niang-from the curious onlookers. The Eight Immortals didn't dare to reveal the secret, so they left this stall of "snacks" in a hurry, hence the name, and the girls and boys in the village all love to go to the small seats on the Eight Immortals Beach to talk about love, so they are called "romantic stones".

Tianya Stone (Strait Stone)

"Tianya Stone", also known as "Hai Xia Stone", looks like a lion on the coast from a distance and is composed of several huge hard granite stones. In the past, this used to be Zhenhai Fort. In the Qing Dynasty, the Qing soldiers in Zhenhai set up Zhenhai cannons here. Today, this stone, which has gone through the war and smoke, still stands motionless in the sea. Its clear bullet marks bear witness to the history of Sanniang Bay. The famous film Hai Xia in 1960s was filmed here. After the film began to play, two little girls stood on the Tianya stone and played the trumpet.

If the weather is good, you can also visit Beihai, Qinzhou and Fangchenggang, which are abandoned coastal defense posts of "seeing three cities in one mountain". The beach in Sanniang Bay is the most beautiful beach in the world. A piece makes people feel that they can't stand stepping on it, but they can't help stepping on it. After stepping on it, people can't help but regret it. After regret, they are at a loss, at a loss.

The moon beach along the coast of Sanniang Bay is about 1.5 km long, and the beach hidden in the hemp windbreak forest is golden yellow, soft and delicate. In the fishing village next to Sanniang Bay, chickens crow and dogs bark, and smoke billows, which makes people appreciate the wild interest completely different from urban tourism.
